3M Bondo Glazing Spot Putty and Body Filler smooths and repairs pinholes, scratches, nicks, minor dents, stone chips, and other surface imperfections in automotive paint and bodies. This product is a 2-part component formula that securely and quickly bonds to primer, metal, fiberglass, and aluminum. Its spreadable nature and five minute working time mean there's no need to rush during the filling process. After only 20 minutes of curing, it will be ready to be sanded for smoothness and primed for repainting. Recommended Usage Clean area with soap and water followed by a VOC compliant surface cleaner, let dry. Sand with 180 grit sandpaper to remove any damaged paint. It is not necessary to sand down to the bare metal or fiberglass. Wipe off sanding dust. Knead both tubes of the product before use. Squeeze out a 1.5-inch diameter circle of the putty, then squeeze out a 1/2-inch strip/bead of the red cream hardener. Mix thoroughly and quickly; working time is only five minutes. Apply/spread putty to fill the damaged area slightly higher than the original surface staying inside the sanded area. For best results apply above 45 degrees Fahrenheit (7 degrees Celsius).
