Bought this because it was cheap. This one is really great at this price.Last time I bought another brand at the same price,this hood is much more better. The auto dark works really well every time I use it. It's light, but well made. That's way cool. The head tighten thing can be done with gloves on and doesn't slip. The viewing space is larger then another brand I had. It comes with two extra clear plastic replaceable view shields.But I need more.I suggest next time please include at least 6 in the package.

Comfortable helmet!
Terrific helmet at a reasonable price. The auto darkening feature is a must have in a welding helmet. It is comfortable and works great!

Not bad
Works well. Don’t leave it in anywhere that it may get damp. I left it in my work truck and now there’s moisture lines inside the glass that I can’t get to. The autodarkenig works great tho and the side tuning is very useful

It is a good Helmet
I am not welder, but I always wanted one. I purchased this helmet because it has the auto darken feature. It works great and for the DIY person, it is a great purchase...

Extremely good deal
Want a great helmet with out paying 300$ good quality works as good if not better than 150$ helmet

Decent helmet but a little misleading
I've had this hood for a little while , It fits well and does its job but... it says it's rechargeable, which is true IF you buy rechargeable batteries for it. They aren't much so really don't understand why it comes with 2 non rechargeable batteries instead of one that does. Hell even a harbor freight helmet does. Next thing is you either have to put the hood all the way up or down. If you try anything else it will slowly come down no matter how tight you get the side screws. Lastly , why not just put a " + " and " - " on the dial knob for darkness instead of numbers I had to look up to understand ? I looked and looked for a way to contact the seller , even on their amazon store and found nothing. 50/50 chance I overlooked something on that part. I'll keep the helmet but I wouldn't buy another one and wouldn't recommend to a friend.
