Q: Can I replace a 3-way dimmer switch with this?

if you have a switch that has 3 positions, as i believe you are stating, then yes, this will replace it. this has a zero to 100% adjustment for dimming. it cannot be used in a 3 way light circuit, where 2 or more switches control the same lights.
