Easy to Install
It was easy to set up on the PC we already built. It did short a few times, maybe because we also kept the original power button on, but we took it off and only had the external one plugged in and it no longer shorted. I have the button under my desk so that my cats don’t press it and turn it off/on accidentally. We set these up for both PCs and it works perfectly. Since the price of these are relatively cheap, I’d continue to do this for any future builds.

EXTERNAL PC POWER SWITCH
I bought this external PC power switch to replace an old switch I have been using for years. My old switch started only working once in a while to not working at all. This switch was easy to install on my computers front panel connector on my motherboard. It took me about two minutes to install it because I have built my last two computers so I already knew how to hook it up. There are instructions included that explain how to hook it up. I am using my switch on my desk so I will not be using the self stick tape it comes with. It works great as far as turning on my computer. I'm glad I bought this external PC Power Switch and highly recommend it.

Works great, incomplete for split
Works great and it’s nice that there is an adaptor included for split functionality with the existing power button. Installation is easy if you don’t want the case power button to work, but if you want split functionality you’ll need a breakout board or extension for the panel pins on the motherboard, because most cases have one combination header nowadays for these pins, not individual headers. You’ll need the adaptor AND an extension.

Worked great for my stealth living room build!
Just works! Used this for a PC built into a bookshelf so I could have the switch be remote. Has a nice firm click to it too, pretty decent micro switch.

I LOVE THIS! It's just what I needed!
I love this!!! I have one tower computer that is hard to get to from where I work. This is the ultimate EASY BUTTON!I don't have to crawl under the desk or do contortions to flip on the computer, I just keep this button on my desk. It's hilariously easy to turn on this computer now. I don't think it would work for a computer where you can't get to the motherboard, but hey it works on the one I need it to work on!

Feels a little cheap, but works as advertised.
Great for open bench testing. Prior to that, I had used a paper clip to short the header pins, which is a little risky and annoying if you're doing it repeatedly. The cable quality is decent and the length is generous. Do consider using some form of strain relief, if you're wiring this into a case. Leave a bit of slack and then maybe use a cable tie to tightly affix it to something in or on the case.I have no complaints about the brightness of the LED. I could always tell when the power was on, but it was never too bright for me.

This was easy to wire up, you don't have to wire up the LEDs
Had a pre-built, the Power and Reset started false starting the PC. This was easy to wire up (I didn't do the LEDs, you don't have to, they only function as a visual indicator). Sticky/magnet? I knew it had adhesive but I didn't know about the magnet as the instructions indicated. It is stuck on the side of my case working well. A week from now I'll update if the PC fries it (wouldn't be the switches fault mostly likely a MOBO/PSU problem). Otherwise I'll do a 6 month/yearly update for how long it lasts.
