Q: What is the difference between coconut cream and cream of coconut ?

I had to look it up because I wasn't sure. This is what I found: "Coconut cream is different from cream of coconut in much the same way that sweetened condensed milk is different from evaporated milk. Products labeled "cream of coconut" are made for use in drinks and typically have a lot of sugar added to them. Q: Does the can have a pop top or do I need a can opener

It has a pop top. BTW, I was wrong in my response to another question about the consistency of the coco cream being thick and gloppy.This is normal, and you just need to heat the can in hot water to soften it so that it will pour normally.

Q: How long is the expiry date on an unopened can? And if you know, roughly how long does it last after it have been opened?

I never have any bad cans, but there is a little trick I always use. The product always separates in can, always! When I open the can, I pop it into my magic bullet, or nutra bullet for ten seconds. The result is the white creamy liquid we all associate with coconut cream. I use what I want, then pour into an airtight container, mason jar or simply the “cups with lids that comes with the magic bullet”. I then put whatever is left in the fridge or freezer. Even three weeks later it is perfect.

Q: how would it be in coffee?

Delicious, I like to add a little extra milk though.
