Works great
We have a potty-training toddler in the house who wants to use the big potty like his big brothers but still needs a little help being tall enough to reach the big potty, so this stool is perfect for him! Big brothers can use it for a footrest if they choose, but little brother can use it to stand on to easily reach and use the toilet successfully. Another bonus is that this stool is lightweight but also plenty sturdy; when not in use it can easily be moved to another area in the bathroom, and when it is in use it's not bending or sagging so I feel like it's going to be something that we will be able to use for a good while in our household.

I believe the dimensions are more for a child or very petite adult.
I've read articles in the past about stools that help you, "Do your business" more easily. We have elevated toilets, and raising my heels as high as I could to simulate the necessary posture can be tiring after a while. I was glad to see this product, DMI Toilet Squatting Posture Stool, become available. It stands almost 7" tall and has a width of 15". The engraved footprints are a guide that most people do not need. I did place my size 8.5 feet accordingly, but my heels hang off the stool, which makes me think this is more for a child. In addition, I personally think the stool's width should be longer to open up the hips more and another reason I believe this is for a child. I also think the height is an inch or 2 too high but good for a child. My first experience with it surprisingly aided in helping me do a second deposit! I like the nonslip feet and the way the stool tucks in around the toilet when not in use. However, I've found that it is in my way when I visit the commode later in the day and bang my heels into it as I try to sit down. After three times (I drink a lot of water), I moved the stool to the side of my toilet until I need it in the morning. BTW, the shape doesn't allow for it to also be used as a stepping stool. Regardless, I can still use this DMI stool, despite its dimensions seem like they are more for a child or very petite adult.

Works surprisingly well
It takes a little bit of getting used too, as the squatting posture makes the toilet seat slightly less comfortable at first, but that said, it does work, and is surprisingly helpful with reducing strain, and it seems to also help with preventing problems such as hemorrhoids which can be caused by overstraining. It's also easy to store with its curved shape allowing it to fit neatly under most toilets when not in use. And it's easy to keep clean, usually just needing a quick wipe down with a sanitizing wipe. All in all a surprisingly helpful item!

Slides right out
Once you start using one of these going to the bathroom will not be the same when you don’t have one. These are especially great if you’re short like me. It gives your knees some rest and puts you in the correct position to do your business. It’s very sturdy and doesn’t move around too much when you’re using it. These also make for excellent and productive white elephant gifts around the holidays.

Not For Those With Severe Arthritis
I ordered the DMI Toilet Squatting Posture Stool for those occasional times when I have difficulty using the toilet. I have a taller toilet with an elongated seat and found this Stool in the way, so I needed to set it aside.I'm 75 and have severe arthritis from my neck to my knees, including both shoulders and almost at every level of my spinal column. The first issue was trying to get my feet on the moving stool as I could not bend over and hold it as I placed my feet. Once my weight was on the stool, it was no longer moving. I immediately felt the additional pressure and pain in my lower back. Next, as I almost could kiss my knees, was the pain in my knees. Both lower back and knees produced too much pain to continue in this uncomfortable position.I didn't have a positive experience, but I think this stool is a good idea. My only other thought is that I can imagine small children wanting to stand on this stool and getting injured.Full disclosure: I received this product for free from the Vine program. However, I want to emphasize that I did not receive any payment for this review. It's also important to note that I pay 29% in federal and state income taxes for each item. I apologize for not including any pictures in this review, as my genetic condition causes my hands to shake.

Don't be a fool, do your doo with this stool!
Over the years I've used several different variations of these poo stools before, ranging from a more familiar name brand kind to using just a regular child's foot stool. All have helped to do what it was intended but it was time for something new. The DMI Squatting Posture Stool is shaped well, and I like the rubber on each of the feet. The sound of plastic scraping on tile is horrible not to to mention that it is nice that the stool does not wobble about. Both of the foot rests have a slightly raised image of a foot with disconnected toes to help keep your feet from slipping on the plastic. I just wasn't really sure why it had to be in the shape of feet; we all know where to put them. In any event, that was just my personal gripe, not enough of a reason to knock off a star.I do recommend this posture school.

It actually does feel better to poo this way
I had heard about how it's easier on the muscles to poo when in a squatting position so I went and ordered this stool. It's very basic but still built well enough to do what it needs to do. Surprisingly I could feel a difference when doing my poo! Also, this stool can be pushed right up against the base so it's mostly out of the way. Although, for a guy, you do need to stand with your feet apart over the stool when doing #1. To prevent the stool from sliding too easily there are rubber feet that grip the floor quite well. For me (5ft 10in), it's also at a very comfortable height when sitting on the toilet. Overall, I really like having and using this stool.
