It is an infraction to drive a vehicle missing a front license plate in the State of California (where I live). Almost bought this, looks nice, but had to check. You should put this in your product information. Texas requires a front license plate, and is a two-plate state. Not having a front license plate means an officer has probable cause the stop you at any time, and you may receive a citation for failure to display a license plate. you’re looking at a $200 fine as of August, 2013 to present. Only 19 states allow just the rear plate and not the front. Beware.
