Works extremely well for WEEDS
This kills LOTS of various weeds especially cancerous clovers. Having said that it does ok for feeding lawns also (hence the name weed and feed). Please understand that in MANY lawns unbeknownst to the owner, bc of the amount of weeds most lawns contain, this will do an amazing job KILLING each kind of weed. If your lawn is left BROWN it is bc your lawn is full of various weeds it isn't bc the product doesn't work. What I did was used this product to treat all active weeds, then waited a few weeks. Then I dug up the weeds (large patches) and re - soiled and re - tilled and re - planted fresh grass with "STARTER fertilizer only'" and good seeds and then the lawn looks great. People have this mis understanding this is a miracle product. It does exactly as it should do. I believe it states it kills 50 different kinds of weeds. It does exactly that. If your lawn is full of weeds use this then re - till, aerated, and re soil and plant seeds and you'll be fine. No miracle for weeds which take hold. Good old fashion grass planting is the answer don't get it twisted.

Very effective fall fertilizer.
I've used this product every fall for several years now. It always makes a big difference in how my lawn looks after a long summer. This particular year it was quite dry when I put it down and I don't water my lawn so it didn't appear to make much difference at first but when the rain came the lawn quickly recovered and I thank this fertilizer for that.

Greenest by far
I put this on heavier due to the wrong setting and late, mid December. After a very dry winter in Colorado, everyone’s lawns looked the worst I had seen, except for mine. I had the greenest healthiest lawn in the subdivision right off and now in June, it still looks like that. People are asking what I did because it is very noticeably the prettiest grass around. We always use winter fertilizer, but this was a huge head start that lasted.
