Decent cart bag for what you pay. Great pockets, cold storage etc..

Lightweight, lots of pockets, including a cooler pocket for ice and drinks! Rich color, very durable!

My 14 year old OGIO cart bag finally gave up the ghost and I decided to give the Hotz 4.5 a try. Full discloure... I only have two (2) rounds with this bag, one on a push cart and one in a power cart.pros: lightweight, medium size bag that has lots of pockets. Fits Sun Mountain V1 push cart very well. clubs slide in/out without hanging up. Medium size fits back of power cart well with minimal shifting. more than enough pockets for all my stuff. price point was right in my wheel house, golf is expensive enough without overpaying for a bag. black/heather/red is subtle as I didn't want a flashly bag and I HATE white on a golf bag. bag stands on level ground without wanting to fall over.cons: the outside ring of club slots do not have full length dividers; clubs are sepearted however the dividers only go about 3/4 of the way down, so the grips will touch/rub each other.-this bag is about 1-1.5 inches shorter than other cart bags I have compared it to; graphite shafts are more exposed (had to use headcovers with the sock attachment to protect the shafts.)- bag does not balance well when carrying; too horizonal and clubs feel like they want to slide out. It appears the strap attachment points sewn onto the bag are too close together which doesn't allow the bag to hang more vertically. filling the ball compartment with golf balls helped a little.- no cart strap pass thru, cart strap just wraps around bag when on back of power cart however there was minimial shifting of the bag. More club chatter when on golf cart, most likely because the bag is shorter and more of the club heads are exposed.I have concerns about the durability of the zippers as they feel cheap and light weight; time will tell if they and the material hold up.for the price point, there are a lot of positives with this bag and I am happy with it so far

Lightweight, good looking bag that holds everything I need. I especially like the insulated pocket that is large enough for a small ice pack and a few snacks or beverages. I bought this bag mainly for the full length sleeves, which my previous bag lacked. I have no problem getting my clubs in and out of the bag, thanks to these sleeves. For the price, this bag was a great buy.

It seems to be a great value for the price

Got a chance to use this bag for the first time today. It replaced my previous bag, a decent Talyor Made 'stand bag,' for two main reasons. One, I now play using a hand cart or golf cart, and the stand bag didn't sit very well in the hand cart, and also moved around a bit on the golf cart. And two, the main, main reason, the TM bag had dividers that didn't go all the way down, and ever since I put mid-sized grips on my clubs, I found them getting tangled constantly at the bottom of the bag, and it was getting frustrating. Who needs one more frustration when golfing, eh?After searching Amazon for cart bags with full-length divides, I came upon the Hot-Z and thought the price was right. I picked it over similarly-priced cart bags because it seemed to offer the most storage and had slightly better reviews. I picked red because it was cheaper than the blue, and I didn't want all black. It's actually a very nice red.The bag functioned perfectly. Clubs were much easier to maneuver in the bag, and there was storage for everything I carry. The 'valuables' pocket is larger and more conveniently located than the one on the TM bag was, and the pockets are plenty big. I think the TM bag had a bit more storage, but it was almost too much, as I couldn't remember where I'd kept everything.The description for the Hot-Z bag says it has a tee holder, but I could not find one on it. But I already had an external tee holder that hangs from the towel ring or handle of the bag, so that wasn't an issue. Some of the reviews indicated the bag would not stand on its own. Mine stands perfectly.So, first impression after one use is that this bag will work just fine. Hopefully it lasts for awhile, because I don't need to spend any more money on golf (though I do have to buy balls more often than I'd care to - hmmm, maybe a new driver will prove more accurate!!).I don't think Hot-Z makes this bag anymore, so get it while you can. Don't see why you'd be disappointed.

The bag is pretty much as advertised, light weight, lots of pockets, reasonable quality of construction. My only complaint is the location of the grab handle. It's not located where you can use it to strap the bag onto a cart. That seems really odd for a bag that is not really optimized to be carried. I have yet to figure out a good way to strap it onto the cart. It will stay on but I have to cinch it down tightly to the point it can hamper replacing clubs into the outside compartments. Otherwise it's functional and I like it, just wish the design had been completed.
