No, unfortunately they do not. They intend for you to keep the domes that come with the smart garden. I can report that the pods with still sprout without the domes.

Any way to use just one pod at a time, and save the remaining for later? I bought several varieties and want to plant a variety in little planter.

The pods can be stored for about one year after purchase when kept in dark and dry conditions and at a normal room temperature (up to 26 °C / 78 °F) - this also applies for packs that have already been opened. Therefore, feel free to stock up on different plants for a long-term use! After the recommended time period, the pods may begin to lose their best qualities and sprouting may be hindered.
