Finally! A beautiful book about the what, why, where and how of birds
I'm an adult and have always loved birds but have never got to grips with identifying anything other than the most obvious of birds. I bought this for myself and am thrilled with it. It's a beautiful book - very well written, illustrated with photos and it actually tells you why birds are doing what they do and explains the differences between species and habitats. It's also a great size at 21.5x15.5cm so you can take it where you go. Really top marks and well done for such a lovely book Chris Packham!
