The hat feels nice and comfortable, both myself and my 6yo child have tried this on and it feels good enough to wear in cold weather without it feeling either too big or too small.The light works very well - it is very bright and great for those either with very large dark gardens, or live somewhere where light is not in abundance - for me, we live in London so it's bright on the streets, even at night, but our garden is quite large and lacks security lights so my son can play out when it gets to dusk - he's afraid of the dark so this is a good confidence boost.My older son and my partner sometimes go out night fishing with their uncle but haven't done so yet at the time from receiving this time as its so cold at the moment, but I expect this to be a very useful item.Being able to easily re-charge the light rather than having to swap out batteries is extremely useful.

I have a pretty small head, so ordered this hat in hopes it would fit and it did as you can see in the pics. The light is super bright and its perfect for walking in the dark. It's very dark in my village at night and impossible some nights to see the way to the car or back home from visiting neighbours. I would rather not have a headlight as I often take them off and lose them somewhere. At least with a hat I'm more likely to remember it in the cold weather. Very simple to use its a one button touch and dims twice before going to off. You can see in the picture that it's very bright and honestly I can see the whole lane much better when it is on.Downsides are that when you use it and talk to people they are flashed with such a bright light, there is no way to shine in downwards. So not ideal when walking with people unless you're taking the lead! Otherwise I use it all the time at the moment as it's dark at 4:30pm. It's also great for cars on dark lanes as they will definitely see you.Also well made and good quality material so not a bad purchase if you need a hat and a light!

My daughter hates the dark, worries her when walking. I said I would find her like a camping light, but when I saw this I had to get. Not only does it keep her head warm, it also helps her to stop worrying in the dark. The light is detachable for charging, and it's easily put back in afterwards. The light has 3 different brightness levels, and is switched on with one push from the middle of the light. Very easy to use and, considering the price, the light is very decent too. Peace of mind and warmth, spot on.

I’m impressed by this hat. It’s actually for my grandson who loved the one that I got for his grandma. At first I thought it was going to be another daft gadget but I was wrong. Firstly it’s a good quality hat and is very warm and comfortable: it’s one of the few genuine examples of “one size fits all” I’ve ever seen. It’s a kids size but it even fits me. The material is very soft and tactile and it definitely going to make for a warm head and ears over the winter.The gadget part is actually really useful. We walked the dog last night and it was very good for keeping an eye on her when she was off the lead. It’s not a spotlight but it’s really good for lighting up where you’re walking, and of course it also makes you visible.I can’t fault it and it’s only a matter of time until I buy one for myself.

The light is a novelty and will allow him to see and be seen in the dark. However, a child of the age that this hat will suit (3-6 years in my estimate), would not be running at night, nor would this light be suitable for running - despite what the product description suggests.A good product but I find the price a little higher than I think it should be, hence four stars not five.

Habe das als Geschenk fuer meinen Sohn gekauft da er auf dem Weg zur Schule ein Licht braucht. Wir hatten ihm frueher immer eine Kopflampe gegeben, die hattr er immer vorloren. Mit der Murtze wurde er dann daran erinnert wenn er raus der Schule geht. Sehr praktisch. die Groesse der Muetze passt einem Schulkind sehr gut.
