I ordered this because I crotchet. I end up leaning towards one side or the other on my chair. Which then hurts my back because I have all my materials between a tv tray and my end table. Then I will have my kindle perched somewhere in between all that because I am following a pattern on utube. I figured what the heck with Amazon prime day’s pricing let’s give it a try. Well I am a 5’6 0ver 200 lb female. It is always a struggle with figuring out if it will work with my size. I have thick thighs and this fits comfortably over my legs. There is still room between the item and my legs. I can have my kindle sitting on it. My crotchet needles and supplies in one pocket and my cut offs in the other. This gives support to my arms and it keeps my work more in front of me which then saves my neck. I also love that it has a cover with a zipper so that it can be removed and cleaned. I still feel it is a little expensive but it is one of the better priced options. I also wish there was more of a variety of colors. I would have liked a brown to match my furniture.I hope this helps.

I crochet and my arms get really sore and tired and I have numbness in my fingers when my arms aren’t supported. I’m also a big lady and had lots of concern about fit. I looked at dozens of pillows and their reviews. This one seemed to be the most hopeful. I’m happy to say, I was not disappointed. Because it’s memory foam, I can maneuver around my body pretty easily. I can sit back on my recliner and fully support my back while my arms are supported. There is a gap between the pillow and me when I am reclined, but it just allows me to position my phone where I can read the pattern and have plenty of room to work. Super happy with this pillow.

This pillow desk's area where a device or book would is small; too small and narrow for a standard laptop or a large tablet. If you have a smaller device then this pillow is awesome! The fabric is soft, the foam is super supportive and the quality is fantastic and its comfortable. The opening is large enough for the pillow to fit plus size people.

I have had two abdominal surgeries in the past year and I had this pillow after the second. Game-changer. It allowed me to still sit next to my dog, niece and nephew. It also made it easier to sit up, because you can rest your arms on it, or use it to prop up a book, iPad or phone. I'm keeping it on hand in case a friend needs it in the future, but I'd definitely recommend this pillow to anyone facing a similar surgery.

I think this product is an excellent idea. However, the sides are much too long for using while seated on something with a back. When using it, there's about a 6" gap between my stomach and the front, so I have to either crochet with my arms extended, or sit at the edge of the couch so I can snug it up closer to my body, but that makes it hard to balance it on my lap. I wish the sides were shorter. I might try removing it from the cover and cut the arms down to size and then put it back in the over and just deal with the extra fabric.

I got this for days that I need to do work, but still want the comfort of being on the couch. This is the one! No more using my knees or regular pillows that are not stable to raise my laptop to eye level. Working on a laptop at a regular desk, table, or lap caused neck pain. But this pillow is comfy enough for your arms and legs, but firm enough to support your laptop while you work. And the pockets on the side are really deep! They hold me phone, remote, and snacks 😆

the dimensions shown on listing are NOT what the true dimensions are. This thing will NOT fit in the chair it was supposed to fit in and this thing is hard as a brick. Too late to return as it arrived late and once out of the package, cannot re-package. I just got beat on this one.

This is very sturdy and heavy duty. It is a bit unwieldy, so I wouldn’t give this to an older or disabled person. But if you want a sturdy surface for gaming, knitting or your iPad, this is comfortable to use. Perfect for my recliner and couch.
