This is an extremely high sodium drink mix intended ONLY for use before punishing physical efforts that induce extreme sweat rates. Only use this if you're about to sweat a lot more than you can drink. Why? Because, this formula has the same sodium concentration as a bag of saline reserved for IV hydration. That's way too much salt for all but the most extreme conditions, but because it's the same concentration as blood, it maximizes the amount of water your vascular system can hold. It's like drinking an IV with mangos...real mangos. Because drinking salt water by itself is nasty.
