Practical Aviation Security: Predicting and Preventing Future Threats (Butterworth-Heinemann Homeland Security) 2nd Edition

Excellent in depth book, gets dry at times though...but then again it is a textbook... If you are in any way interested in aviation or a degree in the field I highly recommend reading this book for a deeper understanding of TSA and 9/11. I took the class taught by the author and was amazed at how much I learned.

Generally, the only people that would be interested in this book are Aviation Security personnel. Most of whom would seek AAAE's certification in Aviation Security. The AAAE study guides were written by Mr. Price. This book is primarily a re-hash of the AAAE study guides. It would seem that AAAE does not care to protect the intellectual property of their material. But given the price of this book, one would think they were receiving new and insightful information. Unfortunately, "Practical Aviation Security" is neither new nor insightful.....
