Love these new collars, but I wish I'd known more about how the collars are measured before ordering. We have four dogs and ordered one for each in brown, which looks very similar to leather. I also like that the tag sits on top of the neck, so it can be read without having to turn or otherwise manipulate the collar... and of course, it's quiet! The collars are odorless and the dog's haven't had any complaints - no scratching or rubbing up against anything.I followed these directions: "To determine collar size, please measure your dog's neck with a sewing tape or string. That size will be your dog's neck size. The collar sizes directly align with the neck size for the middle adjustment hole on the collar and it can be adjusted up and down 2 inches."I'd recommend that if your dog has a 9" neck, get the 10" collar instead of the 8" collar. I was thinking that going smaller, they'd still have one hole in either direction, but this was not the case. The manufacturer was not accounting for the space you need between the dog's neck and the collar - where you should be able to put two fingers so that it fits comfortably and they can breathe easily. As it is, only one dog's collar goes to the second hole from the end because her neck matched one of the collar measurements... The rest of my dog's collars are all on the last hole because I chose to go smaller than larger when their neck size fell between the collar sizes. Being on the last hole gives no room for growth - and two of our dogs grow their hair out and then get shaved twice a year, so I'm not sure how this is going to work for them in the long run as I usually end up adjusting the collar when their hair gets long and thick.

this product is exactly as described! i absolutely love it, previously we had a leather collar but it would get gross anytime we would take our chessie swimming. this one dries nicely with no issue. Nameplate looks exactly as expected from preview.

only rated 1 star for each category but deserves 0. This product is the worst dog collar i’ve ever had. the ID tag is so thin that it’s a hazard for my dog’s neck. I can’t let them wear it because it’s going to cut them. The size of the collar is way bigger than what is stated on the item. i measure my dog’s neck and picked the correct size, but way too big
