Used for bottom of stairs to keep our dog from going up the stairs after an operation. Worked great. Easy to open ( one hand) and close. Looks great and was really easy to install.

I recently purchased this product and I couldn’t be happier. As a pet owner, safety is my top priority, and this gate ticks all the right boxes. Surprisingly robust considering you do not need to physically mount it to the staircase with fasteners ( you can if you want to though, as it comes with fasteners for this ). The gate swings both ways and it has an auto close feature which is super convenient. The narrow beams prevent the pups from trying to squeeze their ways through, and I'm willing to bet this would be good for even large dogs as well. Been using this gate for a week now and its been extremely helpful. Would highly recommend.

Sturdy and easy to install.I really like the extra safety feature where the gate needs to be lifted slightly even after the top lock is opened. This is installed at the bottom of our steps. I also purchased the 'Wall Nanny' with this to make sure our grandchild doesn't try to pull on the gate. Everything fit well.The gate opens easily and the movement is free and unencumbered. The metal bars are solid and feel very rigid. Overall I am very happy with the gate.

... for what may be, in my opinion, the best tension gate you can buy. Easy to fit to the space and two levels of wall care (extender foot is covered in soft silicone and wall cups are included as well); it took about 30 minutes to put two gates in place and they are good looking, clean lines, and excellent security for pets or people. Remember to fit the gate before you remove the red zip tie holding the lock together; if you do that, you'll have a couple of turns on the tension to tweak it, but be done in moments. If you remove that tie before fitting it, it's not a problem, but you'll be working around a flapping door and it'll make everything harder. This is a magnificent gate and, at this price point, I'm thrilled I found it!

This gate has worked well in our house. I like the easy of setup and durability it has provided.

OVER THE PAST THREE WEEKS I HAVE TRIED AS MANY DIFFERENT GATES AND HAVE BEEN VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE QUALITY! ONE WAS LIKE UNTO A WINDOW SHADE THAT EXTENDED OUT HORIZONTALLY - GREAT CONCEPT EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT THE MESH GATE WAS NOT INSTALLED SQUARELY ON THE TAKE-UP ROLLER, BUT WAS ATTACHED AT AN ANGLE, THEREBY MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO EXTEND THE GATE TO THE FAR WALL WITHOUT A HUGE DIAGONAL WRINKLE. ANOTHER WAS SIMPLY CHEAP MATERIAL ASSEMBLED WITH SHODDY WORKMANSHIP. HOWEVER, THIS NEW "INNO TRUTH SAFETY GATE" WHICH I INSTALLED ON THE BACK PORCH YESTERDAY FOR OUR PUPPY - YES IT HAS ONLY BEEN 24 HOURS - IS STURDY AND WORKS QUITE NICELY. I LOVE THE MANUAL STOPS ON THE BOTTOM WHICH ALLOW RESTRICTING THE DIRECTION OF MOVEMENT OF THE GATE (INWARD, OUTWARD, BOTH, OR NEITHER)! IT IS DEFINITELY QUALITY MATERIAL & CONSTRUCTION. THE WELDED JOINTS ARE FULL (NO HOLES INDICATING HURRIED, I DON'T CARE WORKMANSHIP) WITH NO ROUGH SPOTS. THE ENTIRE UNIT IS A THICK WHITE POWDER-COATED PAINT JOB (POWDER-COATING IS THE WAY TO GO, IT'S BAKED ON!). I REALLY LIKE THE LATCH ON TOP OF THE SWING PORTION OF THE GATE; IT IS SECURE, STURDY, AND OPERATES VERY SMOOTHLY, AND THE OPERATING LEVER ACTUALLY LATCHES ON THE TOP OF THE GATE WHEN THE UNIT IS CLOSED. THIS IS AN INITIAL REVIEW AFTER A MOST RECENT INSTALLATION; HOWEVER, IF ANYTHING CHANGES I SHALL SURELY UPDATE THE REVIEW. I WAS SIMPLY SO OVERWHELMED BY THIS ONE AS COMPARED TO THE OTHERS THAT I HAD TO WRITE ABOUT IT. IF THERE ARE ANY FUTURE FAILINGS NOTED, OR DISCOURAGING WORDS TO BE SAID, I WILL SO NOTE IN AN UPDATED REVIEW. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A QUALITY CHILD OR PET GATE YOU'LL NOT GO WRONG WITH THIS ONE (AM CONSIDERING ONE FOR THE FRONT PORCH!).

Easy to install easy to use due to great mechanics in the handle. Worth the buy and very cute. The latch is able to swing both ways and swing shut with a light push. The kids have been safe and the quality had held up to very destructive kids.

I have 3 of these gates because they are the best! Easy to install and very sturdy. I have one in the entry hall so I don’t have to battle with my dogs, or worry about them escaping, every time I open the door. I have one at the entrance to each bedroom to keep my younger pup out. I have those set to not lock so that my older dog can use his nose to get in and out. Sometimes he just needs to get away from my younger pup! I also keep them unlocked so my grandkids can easily go from one room to the next. I recommend them to everyone who has a dog! In fact, I just sent the link to my neighbor. They are great for kids too! My 8 year old granddaughter just figured how to unlock it about 6 months ago. Her 5 year old brother has not.
