Natures Market BF008FB Squirrel Guard Hanging Fat Ball Feeder

Excellent product very sturdy! Easy to open at the top by a clip…. Lovely size haven’t seen our squirrel getting access although the starlings still manage to eat the fat balls but not seen them at the seed…. I purchased the fat ball feeder first and was so happy with the product I ordered 2 of the seed ones and they are every bit as good….

not quite squirrel proof. Had this product before and, as before, these are very sturdy, easy to use and good value for money. Only issue is that if the squirrels can get on them, as mine can, they can get their faces in far enough to get at the fat balls although it can be quite funny watching the effort and contortions they have to put in to get at them. If they could be a little bigger with more space between the outer and inner cage then they would be perfect

It would work well if there wouldn’t be any squirrels around. Our regularly visiting one just puts his/her paw inside and eats. Can empty it in 10 minutes

Good quality. Unfortunately our birds don’t like fat balls!!

...but the cage part isn't big enough to deter magpies and pigeons. Sturdy enough but I bought it to stop the big birds stealing the food meant for the smaller ones. It means the fat balls disappear much faster.

The fat ball feeder arrived well packed and on time. The feeder is well made and requires no assembly. I put the fat balls into the central tube and hung it up outside. Nothing happened for a week and then lots of small birds started to feed. I moved it closer to the window to see the birds more clearly ,we have had no problems from large birds like pigeons and have seen no squirrels.Used to get the fat balls from Wilko ,now available from B&M.
