Q: is this feed for outdoor finch feeders?

I don't think it is for outdoor finch feeders. I used it solely for indoor birds such as Zebra Finches, as pictured, and Lady Gouldians.

I think they've corrected the discrepancy. I have diamond doves that like finch seed, and the normal brand I buy doubled in price. After reading the reviews for this one (and hearing that they were frequently switched), I was hoping I was getting finch food at a great price. I didn't - it was the canary food. It has bigger fruit pieces, sticks, and some stuff that looks like dried green tea buds. And it's really dusty. My birds don't really like it.
