NICE LITTLE PLAYER
I bought this because, for some reason, my DVDs are not playing at all. I cannot use the remote control to scroll through a DVD to pick the section I want, especially with workout videos. I figured I needed a new player, so I got this. I had it hooked up very briefly, only to discover that the same thing was happening with my workout DVDs---I couldn't use the directional arrows on the remote to scroll through to the section I wanted. (Also, my cable box kept shutting off, but that's probably because of how I had the player hooked up.) The picture was fine and clear, and the remote is a nice size. Right now I'm still using my old player until I can figure out what's going on with my DVDs. Otherwise, this is a nice player at a great price.

Very happy with this DVD player
I mainly bought this to play my vast collection of mp3 cd's. It works flawlessly and I really like that when powering it on, it doesn't immediately start playing. I can select the song number I want to play on the remote, press play and off it goes right where I want. Great features and great sound too. Plus the price is very reasonable. I would highly recommend this DVD player.

Very good for the price
My player actually stopped working after about 6 months, initially I did not realize I could get a replacement but in fact it comes with a one year warranty. The seller sent a new one which also (for now) works really well. For whatever reason, the video playback is better than in more expensive all-region players we have tried. Other players had bad/jittery framerate on UK DVDS such that it was impossible to watch for people with photo-sensitivity issues. This player did not have that issue.----------This seems like a well-made DVD player. It works as advertised, playing both US and UK region DVDs. It has play/pause and stop buttons on the machine itself, which is handy if you have misplaced the remote. There are some slight cons - the remote has a rather strong plastic smell to it, the remote buttons are arranged in what I find to be a particularly confusing and non-intuitive manner, and it seems when you press the "time" button on the remote it just displays the word "time" on the screen rather than actually displaying the time elapsed or time remaining. (Edit - it seems it displays the time on the player itself, I did not realize this at first)

Nice little CD DVD player
Very easy setup, the hardest part was to figure out how to advance tracks while playing CD"s.After rereading the instructions a couple of times I was able to see how on the remote that is done.I would recommend.

Wish It Had Worked
I needed an inexpensive basic multi-region DVD player to watch some discs that I'm unable to play on my US region player. This one seemed perfect. It was small and a good price. I received the player, opened it and set it up. It was extremely easy to set up. I put in the first disc. It played. There were a couple of spots where the picture would move in slow motion before speeding up and righting itself and then it would lose sync. I chalked it up to the disc. I tried a second disc. That disc played even worse...continuously freezing, going into slow motion and loss of sync making the disc completely unwatchable. I tried a disc I knew without a doubt played perfectly and it too played in slow motion in spots, froze and lost sync at various points. I had it hooked up via component cables that came with the unit. Thinking that may be the cause of the issues, I hooked it up via an HDMI cable. The only difference that made was the picture quality improved greatly. I got frustrated and gave up trying to figure out what the issue was. The following day, I tried again. That's when it all went downhill. I put in a disc and the logo screen popped up. At first, it said 'no disc'. I ejected the disc, cleaned it and tried again...the logo screen came on and it said "loading". I could hear a spinning sound but nothing happened. I ejected the disc and tried another one, one that had played the previous day albeit with problems. Once again, the logo screen came on and said 'loading'. It did that for about 5 minutes before turning itself off. So now, no discs play...I can't get beyond the loading screen. Save your money...this player isn't worth the hassle.

Easy setup Plug & Play Well Worth the Price
Easy to use right out of the box just hook up hdmi or RCA cables and play. DVD’s play clearly. Several months later I’m still trying to figure out remote. You must point the remote directly at the player. Buttons are very close together which is difficult to use with big hands/fingers. Unit is a bit noisy when changing programs NOT during playing of dvd’s. I bought this because I can use my UK and US CD’s. I love BBC sitcom’s and can get UK versions of ‘Complete series’ for many times a quarter of the price of the US sellers. Doesn’t made sense considering they have to ship allot further BUT. I’m thinking of buying another of this DVD players as a backup. I’ve played at least 40 DVD’s so far with no problem but gee, for this low of price…..Definitely a great buy!

Multi Zone
This thing is incredibly cheesy but for a little over 30 bucks plays practically anything !(Not Blu-Ray compatible)The machine makes no comment about region or zone, it just starts playing or goes to the first menu. The remote is teeny tiny and horrible, the machine may magically turn itself on after a power failure, and strange noises sometimes happen. 30 bucks solved the region/zone problem and 3 years later it’s still cheesy and working.
