Skinneeez Squirrel, Large

My previous dogs had a skineeez toy and it is still going strong. Bought this one for our current dogs and am glad to say that it is standing up to a lot of abuse from 2 young dogs. No more stuffing to come out, easy to wash and dry

This is probably the 6th Skinneez squirrel I have bought for my two dobermans in the last three years, not including the racoon and other animal teddy types they make.My two dogs love furry toys but due to the chemicals used in most cuddly toys they were never allowed to play with them as they are very destructive. My dogs can destroy a teddy bear within 1 minute of being handed it, the skinneez do get damaged and eventually get thrown away but last at least a month or more before they have no life left in them.The squeekers are always the first thing to go as I think that's what the dog focuses on mainly but it's not long before they are running around with what looks like a scrap of fabric. I throw away the squeekers once the wear and tear starts to open the fabric.I know when I buy these they aren't going to last forever and they are mainly birthday or christmas presents. Just seeing their faces light up when I get them one is worth the cost of watching them go silly for a furry toy.Brilliant toy which I will continue to buy.

I bought my mum's two dogs this for christmas but decided to leave it a few months before doing a review so here goes, now mum has a boy jack russell; bramble and a girl yorkie; rosie who are both robust little dogs and love chewing and shaking their toys. They are stuffing free so you don't have to worry about it coming out or about them swallowing it, there are no eyes for them to chew off and swallow as they are sewn on. They are a nice long shape for them to carry around and shake and will bring out their hunting instincts, there are two squeakers either end which dogs love. Mum rescued a pomeranian; holly just after christmas who also loves playing with toys, so as you can imagine toys get a fair bit of stick in mum's house. It is now april and this toy is still going strong, yes the feet have had a good chewing but the body and tail have not come apart despite the numerous games of tug of war, and the squeakers still work! I can recommend this toy and give it five stars as it will keep your dog/dogs entertained for hours.

Whilst the toy is lovely and soft the squeekers stopped working within 5 mins of giving it to the dog!

That probably sounds a little strange as a headline but it is the case in our household that our grand-dog enjoys running after toys in the lounge when she gets bored. This usually results at some point with a shaking of the toy! This one is able to withstand tugging etc but light enough not to be a worry when shaken.

Perfect for my dogs, because their main aim in life is to rip the stuffing out of any toy they get and leave it all over the floor ... No stuffing = No mess and two playful dogs enjoying themselves!

This Christmas present for our dog didn't survive until Boxing Day .... Very flimsy and ripped apart by our lab spaniel cross within a few hours - waste of money unfortunately....

I suspect I may well be buying more Skinneeez in future.The large squirrel is made from surprisingly soft faux fur fabric, and is much larger you might expected it to be.It has not one, but two squeakers inside; one in the head and one in the tail.The only cause for concern were the small felt eyes…but they can be removed easily enough with scissors.On the whole I'd recommend this highly as dogs chew toys go.It survived for four months.

Surprisingly, this squirrel has lasted a while. Well one of the squeakers is dead. But usually by now this toy would be ready for the trash. Reasonably priced and sturdy!

Lo compré en promoción pero era juguete viejo. Los pititos uno no sonaba y el otro dejo de sonar pronto . Se deshacía el peluche.

Mein Hund hatte nie etwas für Spielzeug übrig... aber für Eichhörnchen... Deswegen habe ich dieses mal gekauft und er liebt es super doll!

Ce n'est pas le premier jouet que j'achète ici et chaque x la même déception (de taille! ;) les dimensions ne correspondent pas. Ce jouet devait faire 60cm de long ; il faut croire qu'ils l'ont mesuré de haut en bas ET de bas en haut ∞ Je mets tout de même 2 étoiles car il a le mérite d'avoir résisté aux attaques sanguinaires de mon greyound pendant plus d'une journée :-)
