Baum Textiles Winter Fleece Owls Multi Fabric By The Yard, Multicolor

Even though I live in a large metro area - - our fabric and craft stores have yet to bounce back from the 08 crash. I looked in all stores in area and couldn't find a design I liked with owls (they used to be everywhere). This is the best design I saw with a great variety of colors. It's not only a nice weight of fleece, it feels sturdy. Even though I found others the might be heavier, the fabric seemed weak - if that makes sense. I'm making fleece blankets for my twin grand daughters with linings of fleece I find here. It's just beautiful and clearly printed figures. :o)

I ordered three different patterns of fleece and I think this one is my favorite. High quality, soft fleece - perfect for a baby blanket. Totally satisfied.

Arrived very quickly. It was cut nice and even. Beautiful material. The owls were much larger than I expected but are so cute.

Very soft and warm fabric. I bought it to make sleep sacks with sleeves for my granddaughter, because they don't come with sleeves any longer! One yard will make one sleep sack, if you're looking for yardage for a similar project. I was unprepared for the owls to be as big as they are; The biggest one is about 5" wide and 8" tall. The scale is a little too big for a baby's clothing, in my opinion. Still, my daughter-in-law was pleased, and that's what matters.

I ordered 2 yards to make a blanket the ends were cut so crooked that when I straighten it I was an inch and a half short of 2 yards. It's not that hard to mark and cut a straight line. The fabric is cute, will not order from this vendor again.

I bought this to cut into blankets that line cat beds. The kitties love them and the colors are great. Due to factory processing and potential chemicals, I recommend wash fabrics before using and find this especially important for animals, babies and anyone that's chemically sensitive. Though the fabric looked clean when it arrived, a lot of flecks of debris came out in the dryer lint filter. I use no hot water and very low heat with this fabric.
