A pretty good, affordable replacement...but not quite perfect
Overall, I really like these. First, the positives:--Beautiful design.I know it is "inspired" by Legend of Zelda aesthetics, and it very much succeeds. The flowing golden Sheikah-like script on the cream background just looks good (and I had a friend walk in and threaten to steal them if I didn't tell them where I got them).--Price point is nice. With official Nintendo replacement joycons being $80 a pair, finding these at a sub-$40 price tag is a very nice alternative.--Battery life seems good.I haven't had these long enough to really test over time (about 3 weeks), but I have played a couple 5-to-6-hour sessions with them, or played over a few days without plugging them back in, and the batteries kept them going just fine.--Meet all basic joycon needs.I think it is missing the Amiibo functionality, but I don't have any anyway. Otherwise, it does everything else it is supposed to do. The majority of what I've used them for is Tears of the Kingdom, but I know other family members have played Animal Crossing, Tetris, MarioKart, Smash Brothers, and Miitopia without any complaints. There's only been one big drawback I've noticed so far:--Seems to need a fairly direct line-of-sight.I've definitely noticed that these seem to require a more direct, clear path to the Switch than official joycons. I'd be playing and the character would seem sluggish and I'd notice I was casually dipping the controller more towards the floor, but when I straightened it out, it was fine. Or sometimes I'd open my laptop on the coffee table in front of me for music and I'd get the same sluggishness if the controllers were slightly behind it. I'd move it to the side and it would be fine again. I don't feel the official joycons are quite that specific. And it is not a huge problem by any means, just something I have noticed.Unknowns:--Durability over time.I've only had these a few weeks. So far, they've held up great, the sensitivity is spot on, and the controls all feel solid (buttons don't feel loose, control sticks have just enough resistance to feel sturdily built, etc). I don't know their long-term durability, but I have no reason so far to feel like they are cheaply made or will break quickly (besides, I've not had the best track record with official joycons anyway, which is why I need replacements. If these only last as long as those do, but are half the price, I'm still coming out ahead).--Unknown company.TOPAD is not a company I'd heard of or used before and I'm always hesitant buying products online from unknown suppliers. But, the controllers seem to be solid and well-built, they work well, and they were nicely packaged, so I am happy I took the risk of trying them out.Overall, I'm very happy with these joycons. They look nice, they work well, they were affordable, and they feel like they should last for a while. I have to be slightly more cognizant of aiming them at the Switch from time to time, but that's a small trade off. Definitely recommend.

Third replacement set
This Nintendo switch gets a hard workout nearly daily. We have had to replace the controllers-I’m so salad that they are available! A much cheaper alternative than replacing the whole thing!

worked good the first day
Worked really well the first day. First concern was that the switch wouldn't recognize the controller for updating. Every time it tried it would lose connection to the controllers. The problems started the next day. The controllers decide to have the buttons stick and it won't recognize you pushing any other buttons. Sometimes it just decides not to work at all and you are in the middle of a battle and trying to use the controller and it just does its own thing or doesn't work at all. I just spent ten minutes trying to get my character to stop running in Zelda, Tears of the kingdom, because the controller decided to just go forward and it wouldn't let me stop. It wouldn't recognize any buttons pushed on that joy-con. The other joycon kept working during this but it does me little good when the character won't stop moving. So, I would not buy this again and do not even think it was worth the money spent.

Doesn't work well as wireless
Works great when plugged into the Switch, but there is definitely lag and drift when using this wirelessly. I probably would not recommend unless you only intended to use it while playing the switch in handheld mode. I noticed this within the first week after ordering it.

Great design
The media could not be loaded. The Tears of the Kingdom themed design made these joycons beautiful. I read the comments that these joycons do not have NFC, which I don't mind, because I think the price is good even without NFC. The joycons have good functionality, the lack of NFC doesn't affect me at all when playing Pokemon. Great controllers overall!
