Modern technology meets classic old-school style
I really like the look and feel of these tires. These classic conti tires beautifully complete the Titanium-and-leather-look I was shooting for with this modern-day titanium road bike (the before and after photos say it all). They were fairly easy to install but did require tire tools (as expected). Could not be happier with this upgrade.Update: After riding these tires for a few days, I am very pleased with their performance. Not only are they beautiful, they actually provide a much more comfortable ride compared to the Continental Ultra Sports I was running before (in the same size and at the same air pressure: 105 psi rear, 100 psi front). Rolling resistance seems better, too, while at the same time providing better traction. This is quite a surprise since I've always considered great traction and low rolling resistance as opposing forces. Perhaps there really is some magic in Conti's Black Chili compound. Anyway, I will be ordering at least one more set of these bad boys while they are still available. You never know.

Classic looks and modern materials/construction
I bought these to go "plus size" on my 1997 Lemond Alpe D'Hueze steel frame road bike, which originally came equipped with 23mm Continental Super Sport tires (I am the original owner). The new tires are 25mm, and are about the largest size tires that will fit on my bike due to frame clearance. They feel just as fast as my narrower tires and the ride quality is much improved. I also feel the traction is much improved due to the larger contact patch and the advanced "black chili" tread compound, and the larger tire section allows me to run a lower tire pressure. The owner of the bike shop who installed them for me was very impressed with the quality, and he said, "Did you know these are handmade in Germany?" (I did). I bought the folding version rather than the wire bead model because it is significantly lighter (the weights are on the Continental web site). They have the "gumwall" look of traditional road bike tires, but are made of the latest compounds including a puncture protection layer. I love these tires and the bike rides even better than before.

Been using since the 90s, wish they came in 28c but otherwise perfect!
While there's a current fad for skinwalls, I've been using them since I got a pair after a flat while riding in Germany back in the 80s. I couldn't find them for a while and my hoard of them exhausted then lo and behold I found these again! These have a super neat texture that I've not seen elsewhere. Unlike the usual caucasian coloured sidewalls on WTB and others, these are more translucent and truly beautiful. My Ti frame just doesn't look right without them! They are very durable, I typically get over 5,000km out of them without flats even in the terrible streets and roads I need to ride. The width is true to spec (typically around 26mm at 90psi). In addition, and non insignificantly, they are a joy to mount unlike most tyres these days.I use Gatorskins and Schwalbe ones on other bikes, but these are definitely my favourite. Unlike the Ones they don't flat every time a fleck of dust settles on them and unlike the Gatorskins, it doesn't feel like my brakes are dragging when I use them. If they were available in 28s I'd use these on everything.I do wish they were available in other sizes, specifically 28c, but I suspect they aren't a big seller so I'm just glad Conti is producing them in this size. Love to conti for a unique and amazing product.

This tire is a good option
I like that it's a folding tire. The skinwalls are nice looking. I wish the skinwalls were a little lighter brown. Great rolling resistance. It's a lighter tire. It's a cheaper version of the nicer grand prix. So far one puncture. I rode through some debris and got a thorn in my sidewall. Tire was easy to change.. and I'm not that handy. I like the tread pattern. Feels easy to get spinning. It's a mid grade tire. Not sure how long it will last. I ride a lot. But I'm happy I got them. I run 94psi in front 100 psi in back. Works for me I'm just more careful riding through rode debris on road. This tire is a good option

Low rolling resistant tires
I was happy deciding to get these tires. It's not the fastest tires but it is faster than my old Vittoria, Serfas and Panaracer Catalyst sport tires. It has puncture resistant but I added liner to add more protection and makes me peace in mind. The installation process was a bit tricky like everybody mentioned but with the right tools, it can be done. It took me about 15 minutes to install both tires; front and rear. It's very comfortable at 80 psi and I am 139lbs. I installed the same day I received the tires and rode to the mountain with 5100ft climbing, these tires just rolled and no problem with light gravel. I like it and glad getting this tires. I recommend this tire if you want to have enjoy ride, comfortable and light tire but definitely not for racing tires.

Classic nice looking tires.
Got this to replace +2k mile worn pair of Vittoria Rubino Pro. Out of the package, I like the classic look and labels on script font. The tire felt a bit tight during installation but nothing that 2 plastic levers could handle. Have not riden them yet but already excited to get them through some country roads.
