I have tried just about every type of beard color... almost all of them left me with an uncomfortable rash. I used Just For Men for years without issue... but eventually developed a bad allergic reaction to anything with propylene glycol, p-PHENYLENEDIAMINE (PPD), and ammonia. Just about all the the hair and beard dye products on the market contain one or more of those chemicals... including Simpler Beard Color and Cleverman. I was ready to just give up and go gray. Okay, so here's my product experience. The first time I used it, I followed the instructions and my beard ended up looking a bluish, purple color. But no allergic reaction so I wasn't quite ready to call it quits. Tried it again a few weeks later, this time I left the color on for 20 minutes instead of 10 minutes. Now it looks natural and dark. Problem solved. The only other product that I have tried that works is Schwarzkopf Simply Color. It's a hair dye, not designated for beards but it works very well. I highly recommend you try both if you are having allergic reactions when dyeing your beard and you don't want to to go the henna route. I thought about that, but the process looks far too time consuming with mixed results. Bottom line, Herb For Men really works. I am glad that I finally found a good beard dye after almost two years of searching and trying different products.

The color is turning to kinds blue and not natural color and you also have to repeat it several times for stubborn gray

He visto algunos comentarios donde se quejan debido a la tonalidad morada que deja cuando no agarra totalmente en la hebra de cabello blanco . Hay que entender que si toda nuestra barba es blanca no va a agarrar de primera . Se necesita que ese cabello poco a poco vaya tomando tonalidades hasta que no se note diferencia . Para esto hay que dejarlo más tiempo del requerido y si no tenemos el tono buscado , hacérselo una segunda vez el día después . Por mi , esta marca tiene mi entera aprobación y de seguro me voy a convertir en un asiduo comprador .

Easy to use, it doesn't burn the skin, cons it could take more than one application to get the results ñ, it could give a bluish or purple tint to the hair

As someone who couldn’t use other dyes, this one didn’t irritate my skin.. it is great as far as that goes. As for the color, it does have a purple hue to it, however I use a light coat of Quick Cover touch up that covers the purple and the grays that it doesn’t cover Overall, I recommend you try it if you can’t use other dyes due to sensitive skin, like me

I only keep buying this product because it does not cause an allergic reaction. And I don't know what other products are available for the price and time it takes to use. I'm a father of 3 and my time is limited. This product I've tried every way I can to make it more affective at getting rid of the grey hair and for it to last more than 4 days tops. The product and seller say it lasts up to 3 weeks, but that is not true. And many times it doesn't cover all the grey hair. Something needs to change.

As a long-time Just For Men product user, I found their pricing to increase each year which was the primary reason for trying Herb for Men. Following the directions carefully, I quickly became alarmed at how BLACK the product became on my face after applying the No. 2 cream !! I did wait the required 10 minutes inbetween applications yet this entire procedure freaked me out!Not wanting to wait too long, I then applied the oil shampoo and rinsed with warm water. This then made the "mixture" on my face turn into a thick sudsy mess! I could not wait to wash it all off! Also, the skin on my hands became very dark due to washing the product off my face.It took me quite awhile to wash and clean my hands afterwards. I am now disposing of this entire box of product and cannot recommend it to ANYONE!! Despite the price, I will now revert back to Just For Men hair coloring. Although I rated this product with ONE STAR, pretend that I gave it ZERO STARS.

I bought this after I started having skin irritation from Just for Men. After using it for the first time, I am pleased with the results and have had no skin reaction.The product takes about 15 minutes longer to use than Just for Men. One thing I really liked about it was that I could see the color upon application, which allowed me to see where I had applied it. With Just for Men, the color doesn't appear right away so sometimes I would get the application uneven.The immediately visible color on this product had me worried that the results would look unnatural, but when I rinsed it out, the result was very natural. Next time I may leave it in a little longer to get a slightly darker result.
