It fits both of the two types of sink. And you should confirm the size parameter before purchase. Fits bathroom sink hole diameter 1.46-inch to 1.9-inch. MAX. sink thickness 1.97-inch. Tailpiece diameter: 1 1/4". And remember to see whether the sink is with overflow or without overflow. It matches the sinks with overflow.

Is there any way to adjust the height of the stopper? It sits very far off the sink and looks odd when it is in the open position.

Try adjusting the stopper with the set screw on the stem of the basket. I see a screw that should allow you to move top down.

Can you use in a bathtub?
