For the record, I am reviewing the: ANENG Digital Multimeter with Case,DC AC Voltmeter,Ohm Volt Amp Meter,Measures Voltage,Current,Resistance,Continuity,Diodes,Electric Tools for Househould Outlet,Automotive Battery TestAfter reading the reviews I was expecting the lead wires to be really weak and low quality, and they turn out to be just that but they are holding up really well and the connectors are also pretty good. I have used this multimeter about 20 times already and I love it. It is very easy to understand, is very accurate and it works great. For the price I am really happy with it. My last one the lead wires broke, the connector got damaged easily and it was just a piece of crap, this one I think will last me a while. I am happy and can recommend it.

Its your basic voltmeter. No bells and whistles. Does what it should with no problems. Easy to use. Not a bad buy.

I was looking for an inexpensive multi-meter, and I certainly got that.. It does what it's supposed to do, and seems accurate for the few things I've tested it on, so far..I do like that it has a softer plastic "surround" that offers some protection if it gets knocked around, although ~that~ is the case that is mentioned in the title of the description..I was expecting something a bit different for a case though, tbh...I also like that on the Continuity setting, you get both a beep noise (actually loud enough to hear) AND a red light illuminates.. Very easy to immediately see and hear when you have a good circuit..As others have mentioned, the molded-in probe mounts are a bit distorted, so it takes a moment of work to seat the probes.. They're adequate, but not great...THE one thing I'm really disappointed in (aside from no case) is......there is NO BACKLIGHT for the LCD screen on this unit... That's pretty standard nowadays, or so I thought, but that is kindof an annoyance when you're using this in a not well-lit situation.... And sooner or later, you will...So just a disappointment in this meter, for that.... Had I realized that before my purchase, I would have bought something else..That said, it works, and does a good job, so I will certainly use it... Took one star off for the lack of backlight..

Simple yet powerful voltmeter. Just needed to check voltage on motorcycles and this did the job perfectly. Better than HF quality

This is an inexpensive meter with capacitance testing, and capacitance testing is why I purchased it. In the photo, you can see that I tested a 50uF +/- 5% capacitor and it tested at 48.1uF, which is within spec but not by a ton. I've not done any other work with the meter yet, but the price was right, it feels fairly well built for an inexpensive meter, the screen is large and easy to read, and so my initial impressions are very positive -- 5 stars.

This is the cheapest multimeter I've ever touched and I regularly use the multimeters they give away at Harbor Freight. This multimeter makes those look like the best multimeters ever by comparison.The multimeter works more or less but the cables themselves are so cheap that they broke off nearly as soon as I screwed the clamp on. It beeps for no apparently reason.I bought this because it had the other test proves I needed but they are absolutely unusable. It isn't just the broken one but all of the wires. I'm not sure what everyone else was reviewing. This is the worst multimeter I've ever held in my hand. I wouldn't care about that because i bought it just for the probes which unfortunately are also the worst possible quality.Pass on this.
