Homesick Scented Candle, Colorado

I bought this as a gift for a friend who saw my New Hampshire candle (which was the PERFECT housewarming gift I received a few years ago) and said she loved that idea. When I gave her this, she said it smells JUST like Colorado, and made her homesick and happy and sad in the best possible way. I don't know how they do it, but they really do just capture the essence of home in a candle.

I gave the candle 4 stars, because smells can be very subjective and also because my wife made me, because she likes the candle. However...it smells like laundry. It does not smell anything like Colorado, just laundry. I've done laundry in every state I have ever lived in, so I GUESS a candle that smells like laundry could TECHNICALLY smell like Colorado...but definitely not what i had in mind when i paid more than twice what a Laundry Candle would have cost at a local Laundry Candle Store.

Mom says it smells like the real thing. Mom likes it. Might be a bit pricey, but it's a niche product.

This is such a thoughtful company and makes a GREAT gift! I wish all products were this quality. The candle lasts for a long time and makes a sweet addition to any home.

A warm, woodsy scent. Smells betters and burns more slowly than other, more expensive brands I tried. I will definitely reorder.

Perfect gift to someone whose sentimental about their roots.
