Only works on batteries! No way to plug in.
I like this very much, it is accurate, not so large it takes over.It is black and white, doesn’t have 10 colors to keep youawake, and has a (short) backlight when you hit the button.But only runs on batteries, which is great if the power goes out,but the question arises:What is more wasteful? Running on electricity or replacingbatteries every year?

It's works. I compared its reading to a higher priced proven accurate hydrometer I own, and it matched. That's all I need!
