I've had double sided tape on my door frame from a previous fly screen for ages and finally thought I'd try and remove it with this based on other reviews I pulled the tape off but was left with residue which dirt had stuck to. Painted this remover on and used a plastic blade to lightly scrape then wiped of what was left with some dabbed on a cloth. It was really quick and easy! I'm amazed at my nice white door frame again. Strong smell like other reviews had said and had to throw the rag away, it definitely wouldn't wash. Would recommended for this sticky residue.

I had to remove some very sticky foam from some car glass.Applied with a paintbrush ensuring I had a lot of absorbant paper under the area to mop up and drips.After applying - a couple of minutes later the very stubborn glue on the foam had lost its stick and the foam just rubbed off the glass. The foam didn't melt - it was a very tidy result.Cleaned the glass off afterwards of any smelly residue and the glass looks great.This stuff stinks - put all waste materials straight into an external bin.It works!

This does work but it takes a fair bit of effort to remove all of the residue. I would advise you test it somewhere out of sight to get used to it and to see how it performs for your needs.

Used this to remove some very sticky residue from where a velcro strip had been stuck to a window frame - having failed with a number of other substances this very much loosened it up! If the glue is thick, best to use a scraper of some sort to remove as much as possible then a few dabs of this on a kitchen roll to clear up what's left.Has a strong odour - so do open a window when using.

It works very well in removing sticky glue, but the smell is very strong and the item treated needs a very good wash after use. The used cleaning material needs to be binned well outside the house. The brand I used previously did not have this odour, so I was somewhat disappointed.

I used this to restore an old oak desk top which was varnished, but had water marks on it caused by cheese plant leaves dripping, and a couple of mug rings. Now it looks lovely again - you can still vaguely see marks, but it adds to the character of old furniture. I also used it on a wooden, danish oiled oak worktop and it was perfect for that - soaking in and restoring where there were water marks around the sink. Great stuff!

I stupidly stuck a rug down on my kitchen floor with the most horrifically sticky carpet grip. The absolute mess of my kitchen floor with the sticky residue was terrible to remove. Eventually I found this remover on Amazon. I honestly bought it as a last resort having resigned myself to the state of my floor. This stuff is brilliant. It removed all of the mess easily. It does have a very strong smell so I wouldn’t use loads of it at once and open a window. But I’m really glad I bought this.
