I hadn't heard of DREO before, but watching numerous reviews, it's clear that it has a good reputation. I purchased the pedestal fan and was so impressed I invested in this tower version for my bedroom.It's a very modern design, in a black/silver finish. There's a small white LED display and touch sensitive controls beneath. It looks premium to me and the materials are really good quality. It's also very lightweight.If you don't want to use the controls on the fan there is a neat remote control covering all functions. You can use the app, but if all those aren't good enough, then you can call out commands via Alexa or Google!Turn the fan on, and you get zero noise from levels 1 to 4, and barely audible above that until you reach level 9 (yes that many levels!) and even on 'Turbo' the noise is definitely tolerable. You get various modes, such as sleep, auto and natural. There are on/off timers and also schedules.The app is superb (which makes a big change for these type of appliances). Set up was really quick and simple. No messing about with router settings. It is really well thought out and you can set up various schedules/timers and calibrate the temperature sensor. Firmware updates can be found here too.Now, no review would be useful if negatives weren't included. My niggle is with the remote. You cannot assess which button is which in the dark, even by touch. The buttons are very shallow and close together. Luminous graphics would help here. At high speeds the fan wobbles very slightly, but not a major issue.Conclusion: This is a superb product in looks, build quality, performance and functionality. I liked it so much I bought 2 other DREO fans for my home, which are equally good. I highly recommend.

First off, this fan is excellent. It looks nice, it blows well, and it is VERY quiet. The remote is great but the app is better. Alexa functionality also works perfectly.I had a slight issue with my fan, but Dreo answered my call for support IMMEDIATELY, and even with a bit of back and forth, it was resolved within 12 hours of me first raising it. That never happens! The customer service is first class.

My room is finally cool in the hottest of weather. So easy to assemble too! The design is really stylish too, it looks great in my room. You can definitely feel the quality in its construction. I highly recommend this fan if you're looking for something that's both functional and well-made.

This fan is amazing! I wanted an upgrade from my standard fan, but didn't want to fork out big bucks for the Dyson. This is perfect! Fantastic design, sits in the corner of my room. Not that loud, if anything my sleep has better since getting it and best of all you can control so much from the App. The App itself is really straightforward to use. Did a bit of research, and feel like this was great value for money. If you're on the fence about spending a bit more on a fan, don't be. Best purchase I've made in a long time.

The fan I received is a different design from the one in the picture on Amazon. This is a pet hate of mine, you see one thing and get another.However, the fan is the same as on the Dreo manufacturers section on Amazon with the same reference. Tip, look up a model number on the manufacturers data before buying if concerned. The branding is not visible on the model I got.It’s early days (14 or so) therefore I cannot say how long it was last.The base was near impossible to put together with the “quick” instructions, but I managed no problem from the full instructions (different and far quicker). Maybe the product design is in transition?The instructions are also available anytime via the app so no need to keep paper.Very easy to connect to Amazon Alexa, though you do need your WiFi password. The fan has stopped responding via Alexa once in the 2 weeks I have had it. Using via the app on my phone restored connectivity.Commands to Alexa like “Turn fan off” or “Turn on fan” work well, there is no need to get words in the right order. It also connects to the network not to an individual Echo device, so you can even control it from another room. Admittedly, this could be bad with kids playing, can see them controlling it from elsewhere.One caveat, I said “Turn on fan for 30 minutes” and Alexa said back, ‘OK I will turn on the fan in 30 minutes’. I’ve no idea how to cancel future commands.You can be specific with Alexa, like if you say “Turn on oscillation” with the fan on the oscillation turns on. You don’t even need to say the wake word fan (can be chosen as anything at setup). When you turn off oscillation the fan stops dead. Exactly where you turned it off, this lets you select fixed angles of blow, I find this useful. I’ve had other fans which return to centre when you lock them in one blowing place.The model I have received only has 6 power levels though I do not know why you would need more. The lowest power setting volume measures 28 decibels on mine, still very acceptable and has enough blow to feel beneficial.30 month manufacturers guarantee somehow tells me they only expect it to work two summers or it would be 36 months.Overall I’m very happy with the so far, cooler nights.
