100% worth the money
Brilliant fan, not too noisy for bedtime even on the higher settings, which can be powerful. A nice size too so it doesn't overwhelm the room. It doesn't seem to cost too much in electricity either and has a good cooling effect.I ordered from this seller 2 years ago and asked to buy a replacement remote as it got broken and they sent one out for free anyway - very impressed and would definitely buy from them again.

Good fan, but not "ultra quiet"
This fitted the bill for me on having a small footprint to fit into room, portable, reasonably quiet so as not to be a distraction while working, and lots of settings to ramp up the airflow if required. However, in practice, I mostly use the fan while working in my home office, and generally only ever have it on the lowest (sleep) or 2nd setting. If I'm on phone calls, I'd tend to turn the fan down to the sleep setting so there's as little noise as possible. The actual fan motor is pretty quiet, but there is some vibration noise from the body of the unit itself that lets the product down a little. If you hold your hands round the body of the unit to stop the vibrations then more of the lower settings would be "quiet". I might experiment with some duck tape to see if that helps. Not a deal breaker, but it would have been good if Honeywell had worked a bit harder to improve the unit's design for this. When I do use the fan at night time, as per other reviewer comments, the light dimming function is cancelled if you change the fan speed via the remote, which means you have to get up to reset it.

Nice and quiet
I have been trying to survive the intermittent city heatwaves with a large floor fan, which does the job but sounds like a tornado is raging through my house. It's not compatible with things like watching movies or using Discord due to the noise, so in desperation I went looking for something else. A pedestal fan would take up too much space out of season, another normal fan would probably have a similar problem and an air conditioner would be too much effort. I ended up browsing the range of Honeywell tower fans and picked this one (more because it had the fastest delivery time than anything else). It's not completely silent - it sounds a bit like a fridge - but it's more than quiet enough to leave running in the background when it's blowing at the highest setting. My gaming buddies have no idea that I have the fan on while I'm on voice chat and I'm lovely and cool the whole time! I have no idea what the other reviews are talking about because mine doesn't rattle or click. Setting it up took a couple of minutes. It's very tall but skinny enough that it can be stowed in a cupboard once the weather cools down.I'd like it more if it integrated with HomeKit but I guess that's a way off in some future model, and the included remote control does the job well enough. It makes my room feel less hot without making too much noise. Fully satisfied.

Not in the least bit quiet.
Bought this item because it has a "quiet" night time setting. Unfortunately, probably due to poor manufacturing, the whole unit rattles while in use. This rattling is most prominent when the fan is on lower settings, including the night-side which is essentially just the fan's weakest setting. The only way to avoid the rattle is to have the fan on a mid to high strength setting where the sound of the fan overpowers the rattle. As a fan it works fine, good strength, a good number of settings with a nice timer function, but there are cheaper alternatives that also offer this so if you're drawn-in by the "quiet" setting, don't be fooled.

A silent assassin in the night!
It’s a fan, and it towers! It’s huge, taller than expected but compact and quiet at the same time. It’s barely there sound on the two lowest settings ideal for a nighttime in the bedroom to keep you cool, it oscillates too and is quiet, it has a handy timer that you can set before going to sleep so you don’t forget to switch it off also saving energy, also has a nice feature to dim the led display lights or turn off completely so doesn’t interfere with light in the room. The remote is also a nice touch, basic, but does the job and saves you getting up out of bed in the night. Definitely worth the money and a huge saving on buying a D*son that costs £500+, a silent assassin in the night of fans!

Average for a Fan. Okay for a Tower.
I bought this in March as I knew this summer was going to be howler. I didn't want to try and buy a fan in the midst of heat wave and pay a fortune for it.I have in my room and one downstairs with a Honeywell Oscillating fan. It looks good in a contemporary setting. There is a rattle that develops in the fan and you can get it to stop if you're confident with your DIY. I use in bed as it is quiet but the other Honeywell Quiet products in my opinion are so much better. The fan does the job but when in quiet mode there is hardly any air that gets pushed through it so can barely feel it. You have to turn it up so it's audible but if I'm honest I like the white noise and it helps me fall asleep maybe troublesome for people that can't cope with noise. There are lights on it but again this doesn't affect me. I think the light is relatable to a digital alarm clock. Not bright but you can dim if you wish. There was an alarming point through the night when I smelt a burning smell. I couldn't quite figure it out and even now I still have no idea. It smelt like the motor was burning out.I bought 2 I really wish I didn't instead I wished I bought 2 more of the oscillating fans as they are quiet and push some serious air too.If asthetics are important to you then by all means buy you won't disappointed. If functionality comes into your buying thoughts then I recommend the Honeywell Quiet fans they are a better product. Both come with remote controls. The fan is easy to assemble. I think it comes in 5 parts, it's tooless to construct and a breeze.I wouldn't buy anymore in fact I'm considering selling mine off to get some more of the Honeywell fans.
