No - just the mic. It needs an XLR cable and also phantom power (being a condenser mic). Chances are you don't already a suitable connection on your PC (it won't hook up to a 3.5mm line connection or mic port for example). You would need to purchase an XLR cable and an Audio Interface (something like the Scarlett 2i2 would be ideal). Cheers.

Is this a warm slightly dark sounding mic or quite bright and crispy overall ?

I’d say bright and crispy with a silky smooth top end. Not harsh at all.

What cable is needed to attached to a Mac?

Not sure you can connect directly to a Mac. I use an audio interface (Apogee Duet) which uses a usb cable to connect to the Mac and allows for normal microphone connection.
