Bosch 25 Delta Sanding Sheets Mixed, 60-240 Grit

I bought these Bosch Delta 60-240 Grit sanding sheets for sanding off a very large amount of window panelling on the front bay window of my sitting room. The problem was that the panelling had been painted for the last 30+years and underneath it all was the old lead based paints and prior to using these Delta sheets to sand the wood down. I had previously used the Bosch 2609256958 white sanding sheets to remove the remnants of what paint was left following the removal of the main amount of paint using a heat gun and scraper, followed by scraping the wood with a professional grade wood scraper.This pack of delta sanding sheets will get through an enormous amount of work especially when used on the Bosch PMF 180E Multifunctional tool, I chose a the mixed pack as I was hoping to complete the sanding of the bay window to the standard of ready to varnish. This pack contains the very course 60 grit right up to the very fine 240 grit, once I have gone over all the wood with the necessary grades then the wood should be ready for varnishing, I am glad to report that the pack did complete the bay window ready for varnishing. A point worth mentioning here is that after a couple of coats of varnish the grain of the wood usually lifts and the surface feels rough to say the least. It is then best to use the very fine 240 grit to very lightly sand the varnished finish prior to giving it any more coats, once the required coats are complete it is usual to lightly sand with either the 240 grit or some fine steel wool prior to the last coat of varnish, this will give a superior smooth finish.I would highly recommend these Bosch Delta 60-240 sanding sheets to anyone with the required tool who needed a fast and superior method of sanding down wood of any type prior to finishing, I myself have found the Bosch PMF 180E and all its accessories exceptional after using well known tools over the years that quite frankly don’t cum up to scratch and continually require expensive replacement parts that just don't last, since buying the Bosch and its accessories I have found a faster way to work with superior results.

What can you write about sandpaper?What I can say is that of all the major DIY stores, most seem to stock own brand and B & D with the odd bosch products thrown in when it comes to parts or blades , discs, pads etc. It's rare (where I live anyway) to find genuine packs of Bosch sanding pads and when you do, they're extortionately priced and I've never seen a mixed pack like this. This means to get what you want, you have to buy several packs of over priced Bosch or go with the non branded which, although some can be decent quality, the majority haven't been in my experience.This nice little pack of mixed grit at a little over tenner is a steal when put into that light.

Good quality 93mm Delta sanding pads, velcro backed in three different grades of coarseness, 60, 120 and 240 grits. 25 in total.

I purchased these through Amazon so I didn't need to take a trip to one of the DIY stores at the weekend.These are official Bosch pads and they don't last long, the back seems to melt and basically means they no longer stick to the pads.There are better aftermarket pads available which don't do this, should have just braved a trip to the DIY store rather than buying these.

Well it with my multi tool pretty well, the only grudge I have is there were 5x sheets of 60 grit, no 80 grit, 8 x 120 grit and the rest 240 grit. I know in the description between 60-240 but you would expect a variety of roughly the same amount and a good selection. Won’t be buying from this buyer again.

Not quite the same size as the ones specifically made for the PSM 160 however the delta sheet at the front always tends to be the one that wears our or gets clogged first. So a pack of these come in very handy. Remove the front delta piece, keep the other in place and add a new one of these and off you go. Saves a lot of money. Delighted
