Love it, great cookware

Exceptional quality, if somewhat heavy.

You will need sturdy biceps to handle one of these - they are extremely heavy! The quality, however, is superb. We have a large collection of non-stick cookware, some going back 30+ years, and the non-stick coating has worn down on several pieces. This one, and the small milk saucepan we bought recently, is seriously non-stick, even for scrambled eggs.

Flat bottom is same diameter as my 12" Calphalon skillet; it just has taller side & 1" wider

I returned this 13" skillet for no other reason than the flat bottom is same the diameter as my 12" Calphalon skillet; it just has taller side & 1" wider. I expected more bottom surface in direct contact with the range burner flame. I really preferred a 14" skillet but Calphalon does not appear to offer a 14" skillet. FYI: the 13" skillet was in perfect condition; it was noted as Used-Very Good condition - it was actually brand new in the original packaging.

My fav heavy duty 13 inch skillet!

The media could not be loaded. My13 in Calphalon is amazing! A heavy duty skillet for sure! This is my 2nd one. These last a long time-if you take care of them. Use silicone spoons or other kitchen utensils that could scratch while cooking. Money well spent. I use this skillet ALL the time for EVERYTHING My largest burner is this size and cooks evenly. I do wash it by hand-so it can last me a long time avoiding those scratchy sponges (this is dishwasher safe though) like I do with all my knives I do these by hand. This came in well packaged. Highly recommend this skillet.
