Did a nice job of coloring my sons brows and beard from red to brown. Looks very natural and it was easy to use.

Easy to apply and blends perfectly with natural beard color. Sometimes it leaves patches, but they’re easy to fix. The only downside is that it makes the beard feel stiff, not soft

It's pretty amazing how well this product works. I bought one to try it out and immediately bought 2 more. I love to have back ups of anything that I really like and never want to run out of. The instructions say to go easy on the amount you use, a little goes a long way. And they are correct. When you remove the brush from the tube, it's a good idea to rub the brush around the top of the tube to remove any excess.It took me a couple of times to get it, but it washes out relatively easily if you mess up. Not too easy though. I can go a couple of showers without having to reapply it. It takes a good face washing with soap to get it all out.Also, as another reviewer pointed out, this is not a dye. It really is more of a mascara-like product.All said, I hated having a dark moustache and a gray beard. I am not a fan of moustaches without a beard and the gray beard was not very visible so it made it seem like that's the look I was going for, especially in photos. This solved the problem 100%.

I use Just For Men permanent dye to color my beard, and it's easy, fast, economical and effective. The only problem is, it grows out. Not the dye's fault, certainly. But it gets tiresome having to touch up the roots once a week.So, I picked up one of these. And — to be fair — it DOES work. I mean, it's basically "man-scara," because that's exactly how you use it: apply it with the brush to achieve uniform color. But there are problems.Whereas the dye offers really even, consistent color, the brush-in gets smeary, clumpy, and sticky. Any over-application looks like you drew on your face with a marker. And although it covers the greys, if you're expecting the same result as the dye, you're going to be disappointed. This dries really matte / flat-looking, and also incredibly stiff. It's also IMPOSSIBLE to wash out. It's like putting a liquid wax onto your beard that hardens when it dries.So, while I thought it would be a viable touch-up that would help save the time and effort of having to re-apply the dye every 7-10 days, it winds up being far more trouble than it's worth. You'd be better off just getting some lash mascara or an eyebrow pencil to fill between the dyes. Bottom line: I won't buy it again.

I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. IT IS NOT DYE, IT IS PAINT. If you don't know this already, this is like mascara for women's eyelashes. You rub/paint it on with a mascara brush, and it lasts for a day. You wash it out. It is VERY EASY to overdo it! Rub very lightly until you learn how it works. Sadly, it makes your beard/sideburns/mustache feel like they've got melted cotton candy stuck in it. I guess I'm not used to it. OK, so with all that being said, once you learn hwo to feather it on lightly, it really does work well and quickly, unlike regular Just For Men beard wash which takes a million days to start working.

I use the medium brown on my mustache/goatee, because all the permanent dyes caused my skin to itch. After use, I take a beard comb through it to loosen the hairs.Pros: It does a very good job of blending the grey with the medium brown coloring. It takes about 30-seconds to apply, and can be done as easily in the car, as at a sink. It looks good, and does not cause an allergic reaction (to me).Cons: Not permanent, Must re-apply every morning.Overall, very pleased!
