Are starter toner packs included?

There is a full set of toner cartridges included. I don't know if they have a lower page count just for "starting" than standard replacement cartridges, but I have been color printing from day one of use.

What is the difference between the s and x models? i see in q&a the s model does not include fax but its more expensive.

That's pretty much the only difference. The difference in price might be the origination of the machine. We purchased the S model but had to return it. It was less expensive than Staples price and we didn't want the fax option. When it arrived it had an error code we couldn't get rid of. Contacted Xerox and was told they didn't have warranty paperwork for the machine - which was brand new. Come to find out the machine was from Canada. Xerox US won't honor Xerox Canada warranties. We would not have known that had the machine arrived and worked well. So beware, and make sure the seller is providing the warranty paperwork and it's for the correct country.
