Very easy to fit and seem solid. They are self drilling screws so you just drill the screw in to window so no need for pilot holes or drilling with drill bit. I put 2 on each Pvc window on ground floor and Pvc door for peace of mind for partner when I'm at work at night. These really are worth getting as they just strengthen and back up your window lock should someone try break in. Even if it doesn't stop them it will make it harder and longer for them to get in which increases bem getting caught or walking away. Check the Yale app for crime in your area and think prevent rather than cure.

Gave us extra peace of mind when we found out a couple of the business we live close to had been broken into, they were easy to install and seem very secure, we've had a go at getting in the door and they ain't budging - door doesn't even open a slither.In fact I think the ones on the front door had made it a little less drafty! We put 4 on each door so the wright would spread out from pressure outside, but we've slept easier knowing they're on and it would take quite some force and noise to get in.Grand solution for renters whose landlords won't put alarms or extra security in. Also great I was able to order them and receive the same day, took a weight off my mind.

Not the cheapest but the extra bits with them make it worth it as double glazing profiles vary. 3/4 in my little home as done different times, conservatory, porch and in house different but this with its different bits fits them.

2015 Not identical to ad picture. It is straight no cut out curved bit but no problem. I have not installed yet but seems a good quality and sturdy product. Will be OK used as additional fasteners to top and bottom of my downstairs UPVC windows, patio door and main doors. To help those considering and after reading reviews on similar products the length of screws supplied is 30mm. After inserting in hole at the thickest end of jammer there is 19mm clearance to fit to UPVC frame which so far seems ample to ensure a tight hold but will update If I have a problem. I know others have preferred a longer screw. UPDATE December 2018 bought 2 lots of these in past some in 2013 and some 2015. Of the latest batch we had used only a couple but hubby finally got round to finishing the job. 2 out of 10 snapped during hand screwing so have now become a bit disappointed see photos. I have contacted seller as the product is clearly defective. So far no response. UPDATE 28 Dec 2018. No response from seller so now I am suspicious. These are my thoughts: When I originally bought 10 of these I paid £40.00 and the handle shape is straight rectangle and item seem very strong and identical to those bought at specialist UPVC parts store. The second batch I bought were only £20 for 10 and the shape of handle goes in and is different. Now they are for sale at £15 for 10 and you have to wonder about the quality. Of course as you can see from picture if these snap so easily whilst trying to hand screw (not electric screw driver) you have to wonder how strong they will be if someone tries to jemmy your window open. As a result I have now lost all confidence in the latest batch. The design is different and obviously now the quality too. I have removed all the latest batch and bought some from a store which as soon as I saw them realised that I have a better quality and stronger product.

This is a good product but unfortunately one of the hole filler, plastic pieces was misshapen and did not fit. Contacted the manufacturer who wasn’t interested as the order was full filled by Amazon. I would need to return the item to Amazon who I’m sure would replace it but it’s not worth the effort. Won’t buy anything with HomeSecure in the future.

Very good product. You need to improvise if you have a bigger gap between the two double glazed surfaces than standard. Highly recommend for extra security
