Q: Does it work for long car trips for a large breed dog?

I gave it to my large breed dog a few hours before the activity of packing up the car began. He did great.

Q: Is this okay for cats?

This is perfect for cats. For years I was giving my cat the treats but for some weird reason he refused to eat the treats so I switched to the liquid. Just remember, it may take a while for it to take effect (I think it has to build up in their system) but the effect was almost immediate for my frightened, cranky cat. He became calm and affectionate up until the time he passed (he was 17). I highly recommend this product.
