Was bought as a present, so can't measure the pieces, but we did play the game over Christmas and I could hold the pieces easily as could the 5yr and 6yr old.

you can only play it one person at a time but can be in competition with others to see how many pieces you each fit into the slots before the time runs out. it is a great game
