Heavy, sturdy, and glossy (aka easy to wipe down!). The padded feed on the bottom lets me place this on my stone countertop or on my iron stove grates without worrying about scratching. The padded feet seem very heat-resistent and I do not worry about them melting. This is just a simple, good product which does exactly what it's supposed to do.

heavy&beautiful. i love it when i buy something, &it shows up on time looking exactly like the photos. gives me hope for shopping on Amazon. (awaiting 2 other items that look to have disappeared). this is 100% real stone& can't wait to use it! definitely recommend! (regarding those that complain about stains...i fear are unfamiliar with "real" marble. so bypass those reviews if you know what your buying)

It's pretty good. The size is what I expected. The reason why I don't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't seem like real marble. Although, in general it's worth the price
