Completely and Totally Disappointed - Not as Described!
I'm not willing to sacrifice my privacy by uploading pictures to the frame from my phone. The last thing I want to see is my family's moments posted publicly online by some unknown company. Maybe that wouldn't happen but there are a lot of fly-by-night companies on Amazon so who knows. To me, it just doesn't feel right to send pictures to some company who then puts them into my frame. So I opted to get this frame based on the claims made in the product description that I could put pictures on the frame without have to connect it to my wifi.Despite the images and text description shown on this page, I could not upload pictures to this frame by USB or a Micro SD card. The instructions that came with this frame are useless for adding pictures in anyway other than by their phone app. The USB connection will let you see the Andriod operating system folders in the frame but no matter where you save the pictures, the frame doesn't read them. The Micro SD slot doesn't work at all and even it it did, the slot is designed in a way that makes it very hard to remove the card without a small tool like a flat screwdriver. Also be aware that there is no white mat inside the frame as shown in the product picture. It just just your pictures right up against the black plastic frame. To me, it just looks like a cheap re-purposed tablet sitting on the shelf. The mat makes all the difference to me.My first instinct tells me there could be a lot of fake reviews for this product. I just got this frame yesterday and after an hour of frustration, I'm sending it back today and getting a Brookstone digital picture frame instead on Amazon. It seems a bit odd that I never saw the Brookstone frame when I first looked on Amazon. But it showed up in my latest search nearly at the top and it has good reviews that according to one popular review-checker, are legitimate. What happened the good old days where I could just toss in an SD card. I miss my old Pandigital frame. That was a nice frame!

Extremely low quality connection capability; multiple issues with app
Unfortunately, this frame has been one issue after another. Absolutely not worth the price!Positives:The screen is fineThe picture quality is fineThe tech support replies within the dayThe frame is easy to useNegatives:the touchscreen does not zoom, the frame is plastic and cheap lookingthe app was not on Google play until recentlythe manual does not make sense and is filled with grammatical errors which add to the lack of clarityconnecting to the app took days and multiple emails to the tech supportthe verification code it requires has only worked for 2 out of the 5 people we have tried to share withI would have returned the product but it was a Christmas present for my dad and I didn't set it up for him until after February (past the return date). I am still trying to get my other brothers and sisters connected.

TERRIBLE APP (linklemo). Makes product almost intolerable.
The actual frame was nice--Clear picture quality, easy to use, and as described. The MAJOR problem is that to use this frame, you're required to download the "Linklemo" App., which appears to be independent of the frame. That is, this APP is not made specifically for this frame, making any trouble-shooting, generic at best.If you Google search "Linklemo" you will see a rating of 1......literally a 1 out of 5.More so, after conducting the search, you'll see it listed as: "Linklemo 彬文 王".It comes with Chinese writing; for it's made in China.Quite possibly the worst APP I've ever used. I gave this as a gift to my girlfriend's parents. After spending two hours trying to use an unusable, I was forced to take the gift with me, as I left their house, to return it.One of the more embarrassing and frustrating two hours.Stay away from this--Find a frame that has it's OWN app, with it's OWN customer service and/or troubleshooting.

Things to know if using pictures from a PC....
This frame and its companion app are fairly intuitive if you plan on managing uploads from a mobile device. Be aware however that if you have a lot of pictures for your initial upload, the app will not allow you to load more than nine pictures at a time, so the process will not be quick. If on the other hand, you manage your photos from your PC, there is no way to send them directly to the frame via wifi. Instead you will have to load them onto a micro SD card (via a card reader / writer), and then import from that. I placed all of the photos I wanted to transfer into a Google Photos album, and then selected Download All (to my SD card). When I then inserted the card into the frame, none of the pictures were visible. Since the frame will not display the SD card's file tree, I realized that I had to put the card back into the PC, open the file folder created by Google Photos, and then batch copy all of the individual photos to another temporary folder, and then finally copy them all back onto the card (so they were no longer contained in a folder). Then when I re-inserted the card the pictures were finally visible in the frame's Settings / Manage Photos menu. Unfortunately the frame's software does not have a Select All feature, so you must then individually select each photo you want to import. None of this is very clear in the minimal directions. Note that when inserting the SD card into the frame, it must be orientated with the card's metal prongs facing the front of the frame. Aside from the minor initial upload hassle, I do like the frame.

Pass on this if you're looking for mix play. Mix play doesn't work.
For starters the pic and video quality is great! That being said, I bought this to hang over my deceased brothers urn that sits on a mantle to have a living memorial playing at all times. Its extremely important for it to have mix play(videos and photos on the same slide show). It was very unreliable at best. It would play videos and photos for about a day or two and then it would get stuck on a single format. I would have pull it off the wall, un-plug it, then remove an reinsert the usb drive in order for it to kick back into mixed play mode. Even then it takes a couple of cycles for it start working. I returned it and got a second one thinking it must have been a defective one. The new one I got was worse! I returned it for a full refund...
