Got this for my son for abdominal hernia support. It is not as long as shown, which is a disappointment but, so far it has given my son good support.Had to order another one as it isn't lasting as long as hoped.

I have to wear it 24 hours a day for awhile and I bought three different ones ,this one is by far the best made and most comfortable .

This is my second purchase of this brace, as my last one was getting a bit worn. It has very good support and is comfortable, though after some months of every day use, it starts to lose some of the comfort. I found that, after a number of months of daily wear, as the elastic starts to stretch out a bit (which is going to happen with any elastic-based brace like this) the additional plastic support rails started to dig in to my back/sides a little bit and irritate the skin, which is why I bought a new one. It's totally worth having those extra rails in their for the additional support they offer, so when the old one got worn i didn't hesitate to buy this same product again. Any of these braces can get uncomfortable after a period of heavy use. And I'm still keeping the old one as a spare.

I am not one to sit down and write a review. So this is a must read review. If you don’t have time to read it all, just buy this product! I have been a hernia sufferer for years. I get them removed and it’s not long before they come back. I’ve had several intestinal issues and surgeries. That being said, i have spent years depressed because my hernia is always a bother. I just sat down one day and wondered if there was such a thing as a hernia belt. And low and behold, i found this (others too) but i liked the reviews of this one. That being said, i just got it yesterday. Wore it the whole day and for once.....had the best night sleep EVER. I just got back from shopping, didn’t wear it. Before anything else i put it back on and sat down to write this. It truly is amazing. Gives you that comfort of not needing to constantly hold your stomach. Is it comfortable, yes! You know you’re wearing it but it is not bulking and uncomfortable. The material is not stiff so even with my arthritis, i can pull it to wear i need it. I’m ashamed at all the doctors I’ve visited and never once did one mention this kind of thing. It’s truly heaven sent and changed my life. Just in 24 hours. I’m just a regular girl no ties to this company. Sincerely putting this out there for those that have suffered as i have, hoping to get you relief. Just buy it. I have been missing out on so much life because of my stomach hernia from weakend intestines. This belt has given me my life back serious folks, i know the pain and suffering from hernias. If I’m moving around now, so will you. I wear it every night to bed, don’t even know it’s there and by morning my hernia is back in where it belongs and i have a productive day. I wear it in the day time too but religiously every night. Even if my hernias not poking out, i wear it. And that seems strange to write because my hernia has ALWAYS poked out. Soooooo, believe me, It’s absolutely changed my life and want everyone who suffers to hear or read this and try it. You won’t regret it.

Well this was my 2nd belt in just over 6 months !! Poor quality Velcro which lets this product down especially as it’s not a cheap one. Definitely the last one I will buy as I can’t afford to waste money on items that are meant for a specific use. For the initial use it does work but very disappointed. So another one for the bin . Will work out cheaper to get some wide bandages and wrap the area tight enough to keep the hernia in place. Difficult especially when you need that support to ease pain and reflux. It’s not worth the money that they ask for just a short time of use. All my reviews are my own personal opinion and view. I have an incisional hernia from an abdominal operation scar that is 3 or 4 inches (75-100mm) above the belly button. Because of the nature of the operation, the chances of a successful mesh repair are low so I am dependent on abdominal support. I have tried others but they don't work well enough to prevent the hernia from protruding. This one does. It contains a circular firm pad backed up by a stiffener that will reduce the hernia. It does up with velcro and it's elasticated so you can adjust it for the fit you need. (Don't over-tighten it)It's easiest to put on with help because the pad section has to held in place while the belt is passed around your body to fasten. But you CAN do it on your own:Option 1 is to fix the pad to the velcro strip on the belt, reduce the hernia with your hand and place the pad over it. Now stand with your tummy against a vertical surface like a wall to hold the belt in place to free your hands to pass the belt around you and fasten it. I know.... sounds daft, doesn't it? But it works!Option 2 is for the more supple of us. It uses the same technique as Option 1 to position the pad. But then you need to swing those hips to flip the loose end of the belt behind you so you can grab it with your free hand. Again, it's a bit daft and takes a bit of practice but it works and it will keep the other members of your family entertained - although they could just help you!I haven't marked the product down because of this issue because you can't escape the fact that the belt has to go all the way around you. It's simply common sense.The price is very reasonable and I like it so much that I've ordered another so that I can at least air, if not wash them.

I have a small umbilical hernia which only requires a minimum amount of support just to stop it popping through my stomach lining. Because I have a bit of a beer belly (like most men above the age of 50 ) the belt is unable to hug close to the contour of my body and therefore sits proud north and South of my belly button.Of course I do not blame the manufacturer of this product for my condition but I would recommend that those who do not already have the physique of a well toned athlete (as shown in picture displayed on website ) that they purchase an elastic belt.

First impression I have for this product is It comes with well package including simple instruction how to use and also a provided barcode to findout more application of it beside of supporting hernia patient.I dont have the hernia but I bought this one as to help me keeping my back straight as doing some kind of exercise like squat, slit squat, etc. It's very well fit to my waist with lots of cushion which then make me feel very comfortable.About the material being used and finish make, It impresses me lots at the moment I open it, all the detail is well finish, material shows it's is a good and high-graded one. By wearing it, I dont know how it work but I dont feel being sweaty for long period of using, even I'm wearing it to do my morning workout routine.It's very worth with the amount of money you spend. Highly recommend!

I have a pretty large umbilical hernia so brought this to try and contain it whilst at work.It keeps it in place with hardly any discomfort even through I’m bending and lifting for most part if a 12 hour shift.Would recommend :)
