makes strong concrete stronger
I had read that you should add a pound per cubic yard. That’s what I did when I had my patio with radiant heat poured. There is so much little fiberglass strands sticking out of the concrete, it makes me feel like I have plenty of coverage. I will just burn off the little ends with a torch. I will be using this with every pour I do in the future. Super easy delivery and much cheaper than mason yard prices per pound. I tested the strength of the concrete by pouring some left over in a mold and tried to break it. once it was broken, you could see all the fiberglass strands In the broken concrete.NOTE:when adding to a truck, you will have to have th driver mix it more than normal so it gets evenly distributed.

Used it to seat a tub
When you seat a tub, you mound up concrete, mortar or plaster to support the center section of the tub. You place the tub, press it into the base, level it and then leave it alone to dry.The problem is that there's no structural support for the concrete, mortar or plaster and they can break down over time. One of my best friends is a licensed plumber (and licensed electrician and licensed HVAC). When I was redoing my bathroom, he did all of the critical work. When the time came to seat the tub, I did some research and discovered this shredded fiberglass, which acts as a sort of de-facto rebar, holding the fast-setting concrete together and creating something much stronger than plain concrete. My friend was very impressed by the results and has since adopted this method into all of his jobs.

Good value, not super easy to unclump
I quickly learned during use that the clumps really had to be broken apart by hand before mixing with concrete mix. No other issues.

Use this!!!!
Put this in your concrete!!!! You won’t be disappointed! I just had to rebuild my foundation from the footers and this stuff was a main component in mix concrete as I poured new. The money you save making your own reinforced concrete on a 2700sqft house foundation is astonishing! Fiberglass gives cement something to bond to in concrete and holds aggregate together so much better than not having it. And this package goes a long way! Half a handful per wheelbarrow is plenty! 25/10 will ALWAYS come back if I’m pouring concrete again!
