No instructions, damaged/mismatched components, non-responsive seller
I really love the design of this light fixture, and couldn't find any other spider light with wood components, so I took a chance even though some of the reviews were mixed. I wouldn't do it again. The problems:1. The light fixture comes with no instructions AT ALL and requires you to marry all 8 wires and then connect them into your house. The wires are brown/blue and in the US the wires in our house were black/white. We had to rely heavily on googling YouTube videos and texting friends and family who have electrical experience, and thankfully had some electrical supplies (and a little know-how) on hand to make it work.2. One of the wood components is a different shape and finish than the others. It is a lot more yellow and tapered than the others, not to mentioned sort of chewed up on one part. It stands out, and not in an intentional way. It's clearly from a different run of the product, and a little damaged at that.3. Another of the wood components was broken and the wire casing has separated from the wood piece. It caused that bulb to hang at an awkward angle.4. The mounting pieces that screw into the ceiling allow you to hang each wire from a different location. There is a hole in each mounting piece that the wire feeds through, and those holes are all oriented in slightly different directions. That's great if you want a random design. It's not great if, like us, you want all eight wires oriented in a straight line. If you want something more architectural, you better not drill your holes all in a straight line...like we did. Instructions would have helped with that because that little detail wasn't obvious until AFTER the holes had been drilled and we started to hang them. The differences in orientation range from subtle to severe. It messed with the very structured design I had in mind.5. The set screws that hold the wires in place on each ceiling mount are clear plastic and most don't actually turn. So they are useless and cheap looking.6. The seller was immediately responsive to my complaint filed through Amazon and asked for pictures to be sent from our private email account, so I had hope. And then they disappeared. I sent a follow-up email four days later after not hearing back, and still nothing. I'm willing to give some grace for all of this occurring during a pandemic, except that they responded so quickly to begin with...until I asked for replacements of the two damaged and mismatched components. I'll be happy to update this review if they ever respond, but I'm not holding my breath. In short, even though the design is unique, skip it. The hassle of installation, and components that are damaged, mismatched, non-functional, and confusing are just not worth it. An installation that should have taken an hour or so took several evenings to do, re-do, fix, and jury rig until we had it set up in an okay way.

Annoying to hang but very cool!
I had someone else wire it and I dealt with hanging the lights around the room.I didn’t like the thought of drilling that many holes in the ceiling until I had a bit of time to decide if i liked the position of the arms. I used command strips instead. (Not recommended lol) The part that attaches to the ceiling is very slick- a silicone/rubbery material so they did fall quite a few times but after a few attempts it did hold up.I’ve seen a few comments about hitting the arms with a hair drier to get the kinks out of the arms - which i may do eventually- but it looks pretty good for being stuffed in a box for a while.

Nice light, difficult assembly
This is a really cute light, but it is rather difficult to install. The light does not come with installation instructions in the packaging. I had to email the company to receive instructions, but it only covered assembling the fixture ( because it comes unassembled). The instructions didn’t cover the wiring, which is blue and brown (not the black and white that i initially expected). I had to do my own research on that to make sure I wasn’t mixing up wires. As a person with limited experience hanging light fixtures, I can tell you that this is a little more complex than most lights you’d purchase at the hardware store. For the price, I’d hoped the light would have come pre-assembled and the wiring daisy chained together. Also, be aware that the wire is a thinner gauge than most lights I’ve come across. I had to use electric tape to secure the wires in the wire connectors... the wires kept slipping out.Once you get it up it’s nice. That said, I’d certainly pay a little more to have an assembled and and prewired fixture delivered.

String lights from Harbor Freight are $20. Results would have been just as good - maybe better.
The wires on each light are too long making it way too big for a "chandelier" type light for the dining room or kitchen. No matter what I did, it looked ridiculous. So, I used them in the loft in my log cabin which is 24" x 24" - a big enough room to accommodate the fixture without looking too awfully tacky. I bought paper lantern covers for the bulbs because bare bulbs were not at all attractive. It was a lot of work to attach 10 tentacles and getting them in an acceptable position required several attempts leaving plenty of holes in the ceiling (thankfully wood!). The fixture base was much larger than I expected, but was easy enough to install in the loft.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this light!!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this light! I have gotten SO MANY compliments on it!! Had an electrician install it because I am not confident in my electrical installation skills. Initially bought 40w LED Edison bulbs but they were blindingly bright. Got 25w Edison bulbs and wow! Looks PERFECT! Highly recommend!!!

Assembly required.
This is the second spider light I’ve ordered from this seller. The first one I purchased last year was MUCH better quality and fully assembled. The second one I ordered and just received was NOT assembled and I had to wire the entire unit. The wires are very thin, there were no instructions (although I’m pretty handy with wiring and didn’t need them), there were no anchors included (the first one included anchors for each light string), the ceiling light is different, and the sockets for each lamp are flimsy compared to the original model. I hung the light and it looks good, however, the quality of the light is lacking. I purchased this light due to the cages around the bulb and the look is very nice. It’s too bad this seller/manufacturer has chosen to cut corners. Once I wired all 8 light strings, the install was easy,, 3 stars considering the fixture requires wiring. Value for the money 2 stars. Overall I give the fixture a 3 star rating.

Martha Stewart would be jealous.
I bought this because I saw on Pinterest that you can hang a tree branch up under this fixture and weave the lights into the branch. I did it. Looks very expensive. I took a tree branch, painted it white, promised my husband I would cook him steak for two nights in a row and he hung fixture and tree branch. I saw this is magazines and the rustic tree branch chandelier was costly. This was a great alternative.

Looks better in the picture.
Looks ridiculous put up. One light didn't work. The wires are too short making it difficult to install.

How cool is this light!
Great for a place that does not have a proper center for a light. I used 3 sizes of Edison bulbs
