These can get intensely bright, enough for a kitchen or bathroom. But the fact that they're dimmable edge-lit fixtures makes them ideal as small studio soft boxes. I connected them up to a Lutron Lumea LED dimmer (Model #LECL-153PH-WH) in 1-pole fashion using an available 2-gang electric box and a two-prong wall socket since there's no ground on the LED light fixtures. I connected lamp cords to the back of each light fixture and made a bracket suitable to attach the lights to Studio light stands. (See images.) Compared to standard expensive studio lights, the system is clunky, but I now have two easy-to-handle light-weight soft box lights that are bigger with a wider dimmability than my Viltrox L116t lights.Light Name and Model:libtit ‎CL11A-WT (2-pack) 12-inch Circular LED flush-mount ceiling fixtures.Light Quality:While the description says they're 5000K, I'm wondering if they might be more like 5600K to 6000K, since they seem just a hair cooler than 5000K. They're CRI 80+, so I'm not complaining. There is no detectable flicker _at all_ as confirmed by my webcam and other video recording equipment. Safe for studio use, and unlikely to cause migraines.Light and Dimmer Heat:These lights throw off almost no heat when dimmed about half way on the Lumea dimmer. The dimmer box itself does not seem to get hot either.Light Dimmability:These lights can be very bright to almost undetectably dim using the Lumea dimmer. While I'm on a zoom call, I can make the lights bright enough so others can see me, but not so bright they blow out the video feed.Caveats:When the lights are in a dimmed state, using the Lumea dimmer, depending on the circuits in your house, you may notice the lights will briefly change dimness when someone turns on the microwave or the refrigerator cycles on. These lights do not have any onboard system to mitigate surge interference. As far as I know, this in no way harms the lights. It's just noticeable when other appliances draw large amounts of electricity. Without a dimmer switch and as a normal ceiling fixture, you'll probably notice it less since it's at full brightness.Also, the light temperature is not tunable, the description says you get about 5000K at 80+CRI. Good enough for zoom calls or talking-head YouTube videos.Thoughts:These are designed for 110 AC, but I wonder if they could be adapted for DC using Sony NP-F970 battery packs.Overall:I'm pleased with these lights. I bought a 2-pack for US$27.54 including tax. They were easy to adapt to my purpose, and are a relatively inexpensive way to get small soft box lighting aesthetics in a small studio setting, like a basement, living room or bedroom corner. I like these lights!

Bought these for closet light replacements. Slim look and fits closely to the ceiling. Very bright and easy to install. No ground wire. Great price for the product

I have experience installing the artika ceiling light. I found this one to be harder to install. Had to find a way to secure the cover on the ceiling so it doesn’t move before twisting the light on. Used a 3” bar. Also the light has a bluish tinge. I wish it was yellow. But it’s bright and looks sleek.

Easy install, super slim and exceptionally bright

We bought 2 of these lights to replace the 4 foot florescent lights in our kitchen. There were 4 bulbs in the florescent lights. We have a semi galley kitchen. It opens a lot as it gets closer to the table. There isn't quite enough light as the floor gets wider. We think we should have had 3 lights. But we have a 16 inch light over the table and we will buy another one of those lights. And put this light in the bathroom.

Arrived on time well packed bought for the landing with it been a low ceiling, got an electrian to install the light he had it up in no time he said it was very easy to fit, its like blackpool illuminations HaHa needless to say very bright Impressed

Decent all round.

This a low profile flush ceiling light that has been installed in our freshly painted utility room. I particularly wanted this type of light, as it was going in a utilitarian space where good light is needed and no fuss required, so the fact that this is a sealed unit is ideal, no flies getting in there at any point (we’ve all been there haven’t we?!). What I also very much like about this particular light fitting is it’s energy rating at A+++, so very energy efficient to run. You’d be surprised how many LED light fittings are not energy efficient to run, with many being F and G rated, so if you’re comparing this with others to buy, so check energy rating comparison, as you won’t find much better than this.The unit is surprising,y small at 11 inches, so ignore the onTo shopped images which make it look HUGE, as it is t. I do wish se,LEDs wouLd stop using these ridiculous out of perspective images, as they’re not helpful at all, even though the sizings are on the product page.The box comes with all required parts to put up, only requiring screw holes to attach the plate to the ceiling followed by attaching the wires to simple push connectors, which then allows for the lamp to attach to the plate with a simple screw motion, much like a smoke detector installation.It’s a very well thought out and easy design, simple installation which most people capable of DIY could do. The light is made of plastic but still looks good from a distance.The cost of the light is very reasonable at £21 with good longevity at 25000 hours. I’d only use this colour of light in the bathroom or kitchen/utility, as I’d find it too bright for anywhere else, but for those areas I am happy to recommend. It just loses one star because the photos proportions are so far out and make it look significantly larger than it is.

We've been replacing our ceiling spotlights and flourescent tubes with these flush-mounted LED fittings. We've put this in the kitchen. The wiring's very simple but it depends on how your home wiring is set up. We fitted this in an extension and there were a few more wires linked together than just the two. Nevertheless it was straightforward enough to do. The light from this unit is more evenly spread and gives a good clear light which makes preparing food easier. Some similar units have different light temperature settings but this is very simple, practical and economical
