I started with the standard QuadLock car mount, but decided to upgrade to this so I don't have to mess with a cord every time. Awesome upgrade, even if the price is too high.

Works like a charm
Charges my devices while holding them securely. I own three of these charging heads. I’ve had to tighten the center bolt with the hex key once or twice after installation but other than that I have zero complaints.

Universal adaptor
I like to use the otter box cases so I got the quadlock universal adapter…. But the wireless head isnt compatible with the universal adapter. Doesn’t charge my phone

overheats
overheats even in the winter. might be due to fast charging but otherwise not useful. would charge, heat over the course of a drive and then stop charging until it cools down. practically on fire in the summer. its good quality hardware, but the overheating is a big con and makes it unusable for me. owned it over a year and just dont use the charging anymore. I would suggest getting the non charge head and the regular mount and just plug the usb to your phone directly instead.
