Very good quality, made to last. Works extremely well.

Easy to fit
Slotted neatly between fan & hose; rubber gasket ensures a decent seal when flaps are closed. Springs were a little too strong for vertical use (mounted on ceiling fan) but was easy to twist the arms round so that the flaps were simply held down mostly by gravity; utility room is far warmer now, and fan still works when it needs to.

Decent Product
Where i live can be quite windy at times, and my bathrooms where cold with the draught coming through. This product worked, about 70% better. Simple install, well made, decent price. I had to add spongey tape to get a snug fit. Would recommend 👍

Perfect for Cooker Hood
Really well made, I used on a Neff cooker hood and the flaps opened with ease even on the the lowest setting,some reviews suggest that the spring is too strong, seems perfect for a cooker hood especially if placed as close to the fan as possible, I doubt a tumble drying for example would have enough power

Seems to work well, but slightly loose.
Easy to install and seems to work well, however I had to add a strip of insulation tape (the type for doors and windows) around the unit so that it fits snuggly into the duct.

Bought to replace the plastic flap draught damper. It made too much noise in the wind.This item is well made and strong. Doesn't open fully with air pressure so I pushed one of the two springs back and out so only one is in use... The flaps still close but now they open with ease when the fan is on. Works really well and doesn't need to be mounted with a TOP position so you can't fit it wrong..Great buy! I'll be getting another for my kitchen extractor

Not fit for purpose
I got a different brand product from a hardware store a year back and it was properly calibrated for extractor fans, had a very sensitive spring that would open if you oriented the device the wrong way. THIS product however was thrown together with a random spring that has not been callibrated for the purpose.A leafblower would struggle to get the flaps to move.
