I bought this as a gift for my 12 year old grandson. I set it up to try it out myself to make sure it worked ok. It was amazing!! It works exactly as advertised. The quality of the globe and base is very good. The interior of the globe and base can light up separately, together or not at all by using the touch switch on the base. You can make the globe rotate by giving it a little push with your finger. I had it set up for about 1 1/2 hours and it rotated the whole time. It took me about 45 seconds to get the globe positioned to float on my first attempt. But after that I could do it in about 5 seconds. I am very pleased with this product.

You must be careful to settle the globe in place in 60 seconds or less! Otherwise let the unit cool for an hour and do it again. It overheats rapidly when the globe is not in place and will no longer accept the globe. Hope this keeps you from returning it.

Got this as a gift for a friend and they absolutely love it. Pretty neat how it floats and spins.

I bought this levitating globe specifically because it was the only one Amazon described to have been designed to withstand a power-off. My previous globe self-destructed as a result of a momentary power glitch when it crashed into the base. This is exactly what the Amazon description promises: "【Power Off Protection System】Floating world globes power-off protection magnetic levitating floating world globe with LED, intelligent adsorption, no need to worry about falling after power-off, it will be automatically adsorbed on the top of the base, Low power consumption design, no need to worry about a lot of power loss. " Unfortunately this is a COMPLETE LIE. I momentarily removed ac power from the globe and it immediately and violently crashed into its base. It is quite apparent that there is NO "Power Off Protection System". Amazon MUST remove that paragraph from the description. The seller has much nerve to make this claim, knowing that it is false.

Bought it since one of my fiancé’s downtime is just to scroll on google map. Now he just play with this globe and bob it up and down. The map is a little blurry at certain spots but overall this is the best levitation globe I see in this price range. The LED can turn off completely, which is such a good design especially for when you’re not using it.

I think it is amazing that this ball floats in thin air. The magnetic system is so strong that it will hold the ball (globe) in place if you hit it at just the right spot. There is a tool to help you but my spouse has gotten so good at it that he doesn't need the tool. They are pretty when lit up at night time. And a conversation starter if a visitor hasn't seen one before.

I bought one of these and it would not continue to spin the globe. I returned it to Amazon and they sent me a new one and it works great. Beautiful and education piece of decoration.

We receive nothing but compliments on this item. It’s an attraction for both adult’s and children. A feature we hadn’t seen coming is it’s a great nightlight. It is a small globe and it does take some work to reset it if it comes off the base but the good outweighs the bad on this purchase. Love it…
