Can this table be painted?

I suppose anything can be painted but it does have a glossy finish so you'd have to use a 3m scotch brite pad to rough up before paining it,

What tools are required for assembly?

It comes with a Allen wrench and you will also need a flat screw driver.

What size is this table?

12 inch by 36. It sets in my hallway. Ibought if specifically for that purpose.

Would this be sturdy enough without the shelf? Would like to use over a radiator.

This product is very sturdy but because it it narrow, it could tend to fall forward if something heavy was placed on top.
